“I am not the one who is having a conversation with myself.”
“No, you are just the demon lurking in the dark.”
“Hmm, a demon?” His voice echoes off the walls.
I swear he is one.
Or Satan himself?
I’ll go with the latter.
“What do you want,” I yell, backing up more. I breathe a sigh of relief when I hit something solid.
“You.” His warm breath hits my cheek.
That’s not a wall!
“N-” I start to scream but his hand slams over my mouth and his arm bands over my middle holding me to his naked torso.
“No screaming or I will smash your voice box. Nod if you understand.”
I nod.
“Good girl,” he whispers, kissing my cheek. His hand moves from my mouth, only for him to wrap it around my throat. His touch is gentle, but he firmly places a finger on my pulse point. I know he can feel my rapid heartbeat.
“Baron.” I clear my throat.
“Who were you talking to?”
“No one.”
“You’re lying.”
“Baron, let me go.” I try to say with a calm, even voice.
“Kukla, we are going to play a game,” He states.
“Yeah, I am going to pass Jigsaw,” I laugh.
Oh my God, I fucking hate you!
“The only thing you will be calling me down here is God.”
“I’m pretty sure Satan is more fitting at this point.”
“I can live with that. Now for the game-”
“The one I am not playing.”
“You will play, or I will just strip you now and do what I want to do. Your choice.”
“I prefer the choice of you leaving me the fuck alone.”
The rumble of irritation in his chest vibrates through me, which is the only sign I get before his hand unlatches from my throat and the other is removed from my body only to grip the collar of my shirt and rip it down the middle. He slowly pulls the destroyed tank top off me.
“Run,” Baron orders, pushing me forward. I head towards the door. Hoping it’s unlocked and I can get away from him, maybe lock his ass in here.
The small window on the door slowly opens, causing me to stop within a foot of it. I look around but don’t see any sign of Baron or any movement until I am rammed from behind straight into the metal.
