One didn’t threaten The President of the United States and not get a little visit from the Secret Service.

Well, except her.

God knew that she threatened Gabe all of the damn time, but that was their thing.

Tiffany, his head agent, took that seriously, and sent out agents to shake her down, and scare her stupid.

Did it work?

They’d find out at some point.

Honestly, Elizabeth thought the best plan of action was to have someone spank her.

She was bold.

And by spank, she didn’t mean her father. Amy needed to get herself a man and focus on something else other than whathad happened twenty-plus-years-ago out of necessity. She had too much damn time on her hands.

Threatening the President of The United States was a dangerous game.

For.

Sure.

Gabe only tolerated so much, and Amy was on his last nerve over all of this‘you’re not my daddy BS’.

At some point, that was coming to a head.

And she knew it was going to cause hella problems for him and her.

After all, she was the president’s guard dog when it came to anything the Secret Service couldn’t handle. This was going to end up in her lap.

Bet.

On.

It.

All she could hope was it held up for a little while longer.

As for the rest of security, Benning was also there, and he would be working on kid protection duty or filling in the holes.

Mainly, he was going to be responsible for wrangling children full-time.

The cabin didn’t have a fence, and that made the Marines twitchy as fuck on a good day.

Today wasNOTa good day.

That was crystal clear.

She had no doubt that within the week, she was going to own another house.

Bet.

On.

It.

In fact, they were doing just that.
