“I’ll drop you off first and then shoot to the crib. I need to see Sania and the kids and let her know I’ll be gone for a lil’ minute. I’ll hit her off with some of the cash I accumulated, and she’ll be cool.” I shared my plans with my brother, and he nodded his head in agreement. Dropping him off at his crib, I made my way to my house. I pulled into the driveway and sat outside for a second. Shit had changed drastically over the past few months, and in a minute, it would all be worth it. I knew I’d have toeventually tell Sania about Shanna’s baby, but that was the least of my worries right now. I finally got out the car and went inside. The house was unusually quiet, which was odd when we had two kids runnin’ ’round this bitch.

“Babe, where y’all at?” I called out to my wife. Her car was outside, but that didn’t mean anything. She was good for having her sister come pick her and the kids up. I didn’t get a response, so I decided to call.

“The fuck going on?” I looked at the phone because it kept going to voicemail. I would just wait until she came home. She wouldn’t be out long since it was getting late.

I must’ve been asleep longer than I intended, because it was dark as fuck and Sania still wasn’t home. I decided I would get up and get my shit and go get Moe and get the fuck on through. I’d hit Sania up on the road. I was packing my bags when I heard a loud, ass booming sound downstairs.

“The fuck was that?” I asked out loud.

I went downstairs, and it was pitch black. I flipped a switch and still nothing.

“Must be a blackout.” I paced to the front door, and my house was the only house on the block that was dark. I hurried and went back inside and shut the door behind me. The only thing was, I wasn’t alone.

“You got to be the dumbest muthafucka on the face of the Earth. What I don’t understand is what possessed you to come at a nigga like me? You clearly didn’t do your homework, because had you, we wouldn’t be here now.” I looked ahead, and even though I couldn’t see that good, I knew it was Jersey standing in front of me. How the fuck did this nigga know where I stayed? Wasn’t shit in my name, and I kept Sania out a lot of shit for this very reason.

“Look. I can get you your money. I got a wife and kids, man,” I pleaded. It was only him, but I was still outnumbered because my gun was upstairs.

“Nigga, fuck your bitch and them kids. You think I give a fuck about your family when you had no regard for mine? I hope you made amends with them and whoever else, because the next time they see you, they’ll be identifying your body.” With that, he let off multiple shots, making my body jerk. All I could think about in that moment was how bad I underestimated this nigga. At least I didn’t have to pay Swizz.

The niggas were dumb and fucking predictable. That nigga Moe went back to the house that we ran up on his bitch at. How dumb can you be? His stupid ass tried to run and got met with the slugs from Memphis’s AK. As for them niggas they sent to shoot at Houston, they should be rotting in hell by now. We went through their hood and lit their fucking spot up. This should be a lesson to these country ass muthafuckas to stay in their fucking lanes. I knew killing Honcho would be easy because that nigga was dumb as fuck. He thought getting close to my baby mama would work out in his favor. What he failed to realize was that the bitch was still on my dick.

“You think we got all of them niggas?” Houston asked on the way back to the A.

“Hard to tell. Hopefully, we did, because I don’t have time to be killing niggas when I could be fucking my girl and making money. You never know though.” He nodded in agreement.

“We’ll just do what we do best and stay ready for these niggas. Ain’t no fucking threats ’round this bitch.” Memphis chimed in.

“You’re absolutely right. Now we have to focus on getting the truck yard back up and running. That shit is about to set us back a grip. Insurance can cover the building, but now we gotta find a way to move the fucking product.” I was frustrated as fuck. We had the means to do the shit, but it was just the principle of it.

“We’ll get that shit done, bruh. Don’t sweat it,” Houston assured.

The rest of the ride, we passed blunts back and forth and made plans. It was about to get busy, just so that we could get back where we needed to be.

It was damn near four in the morning when I got back home. Instead of walking in to Mylani sleeping, she was up waiting for me.

“What you doing up?” I asked, shedding my clothes.

“I couldn’t sleep. I had to make sure that you were gonna walk back through that door.” This was why I loved this girl. She genuinely fucked with a nigga, and I appreciated the fuck outta her for that.

“I’m good, bae. You don’t need to be losing sleep, though. Jerz good?”

“Yes. He didn’t know what was going on, and I didn’t want to alarm him. He spent most of the night playing his game until we watched a movie.”

“I bet his lil’ ass loved that shit. I done told him to ease up off my girl.”

She laughed at my statement, and so did I.

“Come on and take a shower with me. I’m tired as fuck, and I just wanna wash my ass, slide up in your sweet spot, and go thefuck to sleep. You think you can handle that?” She nodded and followed me into the bathroom. Tonight was one hell of a night, and I was glad the shit was over with. Hopefully, that will be the last of the bullshit for a while.

I got up early the next morning so that I could go holla at Shanna. I thought it was only right that I told her that her bitch ass baby daddy was dead. I didn’t know what the fuck she was thinking fucking with a nigga like him in the first place. If it was to make me jealous, she wasted her time. I pulled up to the house and saw a repair truck outside. I got out and went up to the door and walked past dude fixing the door. I looked around and found Shanna in the kitchen, sitting at the table.
