“Guilty on all accounts, your honor.”
“Are you fucking kidding me?” Everyone screams in the courtroom.
My mouth opens and shuts like a damn fish. I never would have expected him the jury to come back with all guilty verdicts. Especially since who they are deeming guilty has some very large pockets.
“This is fucking crazy!” Someone yells in the room.
I’m seated as I stare at the judge waiting for her to say something else. Anything else about the verdict.
“We will meet in two weeks to discuss sentencing. The court would like to thank the jurors for being here and their honest feedback regarding the case. Bailiff, please take the defendant into custody.”
Savros jumps out of his chair before the bailiff even gets his hands on him. Even in his chains, he still moves rather quick as he jumps into my face. As hard as he can, he head butts me in the head causing me to slide back in my wheelie chair. My body is hurled into the siderail that separates the members of the court and the bystanders.
“You’re dead! Everyone you love is dead! Everything you have ever loved and wanted in your life is dead! You stupid, fucking bitch! How could you do this to me? You don’t know shit about shit! Dead! Everything!” Savros yells in my face and then spits on me.
I’m still in my chair with my eyes widened. His spit hits me on the cheek making me want to gag but I’m more afraid of his threat. The last people that he threatened, he killed them. Every last member of their family.
