Stilarno and the family drama will have to wait. In six days, I am marrying my dream woman and she deserves all of my attention.
Chapter 30
Even though we didn't make it to a big city for our trip, Anne and I spent the two days before we left for Mexico, at an overnight spa. This place is amazing and very prestigious, so it took some time to convince them to take us in. We both got manicures and pedicures, full body massages, facials and a hot stone massage. The mud bath was actually really strange. It felt as if I were laying in a bank by a lake or something. Our rooms overlooked the bay and I loved the steamer showers. Definitely a place I would like to go to again.

We left on the plane at day five. When I awoke this morning, I was excited and happy. Now, as I sit on the plane holding Vincent's hand and look to the back of my seat and see my best friend, I am excited, happy and nervous.
This wedding needs to go perfectly. I owe it to Vincent to make sure that he gets his dream wedding as well. He squeezed my hand, as we hit turbulence and I smiled at him. I love this man so much.
The day that Ronnie told me he wanted to name his babythatname, was a hard day. However, Vincent made it all better. He held me all night after they left, and we daydreamed about our future. Some of it was silly. I know for a fact that we won't be going on yearly trips to Italy. That is just ridiculous.
I watched as we laced our fingers together and our hands fit famously. Vincent leaned over our hands and kissed my cheek before showering in my ear. I love feeling his breath and lips move against my skin. "Hey, baby. You aren't tired?" I know he is asking about our quickie we had before we left for the flight which was amazing. I needed something to take the edge off and we also gave each other hard times for our outfits. I laughed at him as we walked out of the house to get onto the plane. Here I am wearing perfect traveling clothes, and what a complete shocker, he is wearing a suit. My sexy little businessman.
"No," I answered with a smile. "I am too excited to sleep. Can you tell me a little about the ceremony?" I was surprised that he didn't have me help him plan it all. The whole ceremony and the reception is something that he planned. I worry that it will be too over the top or a scene out of The Godfather or something.
"Well, the ceremony is going to be in Mexico." Smart ass.
"You are lucky I am in love with you. You know that the wedding day is the most important day for a woman, right?"
There is a pause before he says anything, and I look up to see him looking at me. "Yes, I do. I plan on making it absolutely perfect for you."

When the plane landed, we went through Mexican customs. I don't want to sound cocky, but a lot of the Mexicans stopped and stared at me. Vincent reminded me that since I am a blonde, I am considered the minority which is crazy.
Anne and Ronnie walked behind us holding hands, and Vincent had some man who met us as we got off the plane, carry our luggage so he could tuck me in his arm. I stayed like that as I took in the airport. Stores and stores lined each floor and there is an open floor plan in the middle. Is this an airport or a mall?
The Mexican sun was so bright and beautiful that I wish I would have changed into shorts. While we walked outside of the airport, I looked around outside and noticed how different this area is from New York. There were people riding hikes past us, and ratty cars. However, it was simply wonderful to experience.
"Tomorrow, my love. Tomorrow, you will be my wife," Vincent said as we climbed into the cab to take us to our resort. I smiled at him and leaned my back on his chest as we drove.
I was so tempted to give him head on the plane. However, there were so many people around. My moral compass told me that it wouldn't be a good way to start a marriage by being in a Mexican jail. However, the temptation was still there, and I knew it would blow his mind.
Inside my pocket held his wedding band and I like to reach in and touch it to make sure it’s still there. I went for a platinum ring with decent sized diamonds on the front. Annabeth gave me a good deal on the band, and she made sure to keep it hidden this past week. There were a few days where I debated with myself on whether or not to engrave it. The side that was for it, won. "I Will Love You," is what I engraved.
As we pulled up to the resort, there was a man in front holding a tray full of mimosas. Still seated in the car, I looked out and took in the front of the hotel. The front is white and large with adobe style designs. Shutters of all different colors lined the four-story hotel. Simply put, the hotel is beautiful.
I leaned in to whisper in Vincent's ear: "I never want to leave. It’s beautiful." I kissed his cheek and waited for the attendant to help me out of the car.
"My lady," the attendant said as he helped me out of the taxi. When I put my feet on the ground, he handed me one.
"Vans, this is beautiful!" Anne screamed as she grabbed a goblet as well for her husband. We did a little swirl and I watched her hair float out in a circle.
After we checked in, I took in the hotel. It was breezy and the sounds from the ocean echoed in the foyer. It was painted a beautiful peach and all of the workers did speak English. Which is nice since I haven't taken Spanish in a long time.
"Are we ready?" Vincent asked as he placed his hand on the small of my back. "We have a room that overlooks the ocean and the pools. I know how much you love the pools." He winked at me and I blushed crimson.
As he led us out of the foyer to walk up the stairs, I heard Anne and Ronnie behind us.
"How long are we staying, sweetheart?" Anne asked as she adjusted her purse.
"A week. You deserve to have a second honeymoon. Don't worry lovebirds," Ronnie addressed Vincent and myself, "we are down the hall, so you won't know we are here."
"Mm, that is what I thought. I knew you wanted to stay here, too!" Vincent said as I laughed.
"Have you checked on Cherub yet?" Cherub was staying with a "lackey" and his family was watching him. I wasn't exactly jumping at the idea of having someone watching my dog already, but we couldn't bring him.
