I started up a rhythm again, and this time he didn’t try to stop me, his eyes rolling up as he leaned further into me, kissing me and increasing the pressure, the friction, between our pelvises.
I felt the slow lick of an orgasm beginning to build low in my belly, the sensation of his hard heat pressing against my aching clit sending lazy swirls of pleasure spiraling through me.
“Sweet Goddess, Joss,” he groaned into the side of my neck, his breaths coming in sharp pants now, his hands clutching at my ass hard enough that it almost hurt. “You feel amazing. Even like this, you feel…so good. So damngood.” He lifted his head, his hair even wilder from my playing with it, gripping it, and grinned down at me, the pace that he was grinding against me picking up. “You’re so beautiful. All the time, but especially like this. Are you close, my star?”
I nodded, the words too hard to get out past the fog of lust.He thinks I’m beautiful. Just woken up, barely cleaned up, and he thought I was beautiful. Hewantedme like this. I bit my lip, feeling myself beginning to crest, the delicious tension in my body all pulling taut at once. I gasped, grabbing the base of his horns and running my thumbs along the skin just below where they started, using my grip to guide his face back to mine so I could kiss him as I came, heat and release thundering through me. I cried out, his mouth catching the sound and swallowing it, then I felt him twitch and surge against me. He cried out with his own release, clutching me tight against him, every muscle in his body going tense. After a moment he sagged against me, panting, before gently setting me on my feet. Once he was sure that I was stable he sank backwards, flopping onto the floor.
“Oh my god, are you okay?” I crouched down next to him, my hands fluttering around him, unsure of what to do to help. “Do you need…something?”
He shook his head, his horns scraping into the floor, before one arm came around my middle and pulled me down on top of him. I went eagerly, giggling at the blissed-out, mind-blown expression on his gorgeous face.
“I think I just need a moment,” he rasped, pressing a kiss into the top of my head. “Holy heavens, I was not expecting that.” He squeezed me against him, his other arm wrapping around my hips, his thumb rubbing against me in small, soothing strokes. “Is it always like that?”
I giggled again. “Dry humping? It’s never been that amazing for me before. But from what I hear actual, you know, sexis even better. But I’ve never, um…gone all the way with a guy before.” I pursed my lips, then blurted out the question that was boiling in my gut: “Have you?”
He stiffened a little underneath me, blowing out a breath that ruffled my hair. “Had…sex?” He hesitated, then held me closer. “No, I haven’t. Does that bother you?”
I shook my head. “No. Does it bother you that I haven’t?”
“Of course not. I uh—I may have already known that.”
I started, pulling back to look down at him. “What the fuck? How?”
He looked uncomfortable. “The uh…the th'rakkans said so. That all five of you were…untouched.”
“Oh.” Well, that was weird. But I guess it made sense if they were selling us as pleasure slaves. “Well that’s good though, no more secrets there. Are you…happy with this? I know your people have a long list of hygiene laws and we’re breaking them left and right doing this. Does it bother you?”
“Goddess, no. But that does remind me, I wanted to ask you something.” His face flushed again, his tail winding around my ankle tightly, like he was nervous I’d run. “I was wondering, Joss, if you might want to—to enter into an official courtship with me. We can get proximity permits that would allow for this, we just need physicals and some blood tests.”
A smile broke wide over my face. “Oh my god, are you asking me to go steady?”
His brow furrowed in confusion. Which—fair. That was an old and unused phrase even back on Earth that I’d picked up from watching too many old movies. “I don’t…”
I waved a hand dismissively, sliding up his body to plant a kiss on his lips. “Don’t worry, it’s just a goofy Earth saying. Yes, I think I’d like that a lot. My answer’s yes.”
He beamed at me, pulling me in tight for a bone-crushing hug that made me squeak.
I WASN’T SUREwhat I’d been expecting in terms of a timeline once Xollen had asked me to be his…girlfriend, I guess? But I wasn’t expecting same-day. But I should have figured he’d want to get it taken care of as soon as possible. He was a bit of a control freak, my Xollen.
The security guards at the front of the records building grinned at us, recognizing us from our many trips to this exact building, getting me my chip and citizenship (which was still not all the way through, since I still had a couple of tests to take).
“How you two doing?” A rather scary-looking but sweet yvrenii male named Hellem greeted us with a warm smile and a wave. “Good to see you back again so soon.”
I smiled back, leaning a little closer to Hellem. “We’re getting courtship permits!” I fake-whispered theatrically.
Hellem’s three eyes widened, then a broad grin split his face, stretching his lips taut over his jutting tusks. He laughed, a loud booming belly laugh, then clapped Xollen on the shoulder hard enough to make him stagger. “This is excellent news, my friends! I wish you all the happiness in the world!” Xollen smiled back weakly while I giggled. “You know where the office is?” he asked us.
Xollen nodded, “yes, we’ve been there before. Thank you, Hellem.”
“Of course! I expect an invitation to the mating ceremony,” he called after us as we headed to the second floor, where the office we needed was.
I looked at Xollen out of the corner of my eye, surprised to see him blushing. Was a mating ceremony not like a wedding? Had Hellem just asked to see us like, bone or something? “You okay, Xoll?” I asked, taking his hand and squeezing it.
He nodded, smiling down at me before tugging me closer against his side with our joined hands. “Yes, I just never know what to make of Hellem. How is he so…friendly all the time? It boggles my mind.” I laughed; Xollenwasvery shy.
“I don’t know but I wish I could steal it. I havesucha hard time talking to people,” I admitted.
Xollen turned to me, surprised. “Really? But you seem so comfortable with it. I see you talking to other people like they’re your friends all the time.”
