I head to one beside it, identical to the one he’s working on, and use my token to lower the bridge. “We’re taking a short holiday. We’ll be back in two solars, possibly three. Don’t let anyone do anything stupid until then.”

Gerannu nods and wipes his hands off on the rag he’s carrying. “Shouldn’t be a problem. The yeeyar is at maximum strength, the humans are secure in their tanks and, so far, we’ve been successful in fending off the Eshmiri who tried to board her. Kor will still be standing on your return.”

“Oh! Hi Deena!” Tevbarannos says. He’s carrying a long sack full of kintarr crystals over one shoulder, but still manages to wave one hand. “Where are you headed?”

“Help me!” She kicks her feet uselessly. “Can’t you see I’m being kidnapped?”

Tevbarannos laughs. Gerannu laughs. I grin.

Tevbarannos shakes his head and waves her off like she’s just the cutest, silliest thing. Mainly, because she is. “You can’t kidnap a pirate. We own the skies. Have fun wherever you’re off to!” He waves and keeps going, humming to himself. I notice it’s the same song about plants Deena is always singing. He isn’t the first pirate I’ve noticed who’s started singing it. Garbage lyrics and all, evenIhaven’t been immune.

I give Deena’s full bottom a little swat and then, because anticipation is making me so anxious, I lean into her fleshy rear and bite it.

“Oy!” She yelps, kicking even harder. “You have no right to do this to me, Rhork! Put me down, now!”

“Ha! I have every right, Deena.” The ship slips shut behind me and I walk her to one of the four chairs facing inward in the center of the roundish space. I lower to my knees as I set her down and remain on my knees as I spread her thighs around my shoulders. Using the token commands, I open the mothership so our cruiser can launch into the stars.

Deena yelps again as we do. Or maybe, because I’ve pulled her to the edge of her seat and placed my mouth over her core through the thin gormar fabric. “Mmmmhmmmmm,” she wheezes and I can feel her uncertain resistance as she grabs hold of my tines. “Rhor…Rhor…Rhork! Stop it. I don’t want…” She gasps as I pull back and look up at her face, the taste of her just elusive enough to drive me crazy.

I growl up at her, my skein lifting so I can read every line of insecurity and uncertainty in her expression. “I’ve been busy these past fifteen solars.”

“Ontte, I know.” She snaps her legs together — tries, but her knees meet my shoulders, which keep her legs spread. I place my upper hands on her upper thighs, massaging them in firm, gentle movements. “You’ve been busy having shekurr with Meghanora and all the other Niahhorru females I met. I met Trenarru, too, you know.”

I smile. “Your jealousy is driving me wild.”

“Stop making fun of me.” She tries to block my hands, but ends up grabbing onto them.

“I’m not making fun of you. Doesn’t it thrill you to know that I have every intention of returning to the Cosmos Dome when I’m finished with you here and cutting the lips off of that Egama you kissed?”

She doesn’t answer. But her grip on my hands eases and her eyes momentarily unfocus. I use that opportunity to pull her further forward and nuzzle into her core, drowning my senses in her taste. “But I…I didn’t fuck him. You actually had…your dick inside of both of them.”

“Ontte, I did.”

She punches my shoulder. I laugh against her crotch, tongue snaking out to try to reach her through the fabric. “I had them both beneath me on the ceremonial slab. I entered their heat. Spent inside of them…”

“Stop it…”

“I watched my brothers do the same. I watched twelve other pirates empty inside of them after me. And not once did I feel an ounce of the jealousy that I felt when you pressed your lips against that Egama’s ugly face.”

I yank her out of her seat and lower her onto the floor between the cage of my four arms and my two legs. I sink onto her so that our hips are connected and I will my erection at bay. I’m not ready. Not yet. The first time I take her, I know exactly where it will be and how it will end. I’ve planned for this for two hundred and twenty solars and she will not spoil my plans any more than her jealousy already has. Because her jealousy has accelerated them.

“You…didn’t?” She whispers. Her voice twists up at the end, coming out as light as a feather with all the power of a scream. It causes a new pulse in my cock to beat.

I concentrate on the hard pressure of the floor beneath my knees instead of the soft warmth of her stomach against my hips. “Centare, Deena. I have never been in love before. I had no way of knowing that you’d become jealous if I touched another female. You haven’t said anything of how you feel for me.” I tilt my head to the side and narrow my gaze in challenge.

Deena’s eyes flare with panic and I laugh, ambling off of her slowly —painfully. It hurts my gut just as much as it pains my soul not to rut into her immediately. Not yet, though. Soon. So very soon.

I walk to the view pane and cross my four arms. The blackness of the solar system reveals nothing. We are still a quarter solar off. “You should eat something,” I say. “When we land, you’ll need the energy.”

“Wh…why?”

“Because I’m going to make love to you for the next two solars without stopping. I won’t be able to.”

“I don’t understand. Why…why now? Do you even want to? You don’t have to if you don’t want to.”

“Augh,” I groan. “I thought we discussed this. Shut up and wait. Eat something. We’re not too far now.”

“From where?”
