“I don’t know.” I kiss his shoulder. “Same way I don’t understand how you make magic in the kitchen. It’s sorcery.”
“Aww, you think I’m special,” he teases.
“Yeah,” I agree. “I think you are.”
“Do you want to have sex with me?”
I groan when my cock twitches against his ass. “Absolutely.”
“Then why aren’t we having sex right now?”
“Because, right now, I want to know how your day went and just hold you. I want to take my time learning every part of you inside and out. There’s no rush here, hubby. We have all the time in the world.”
“You like calling me hubby. I know this because your dick jumped when you said it.”
I grin against his neck. “I’m a simple man.”
“I’m not,” Riko whispers. “I’m loud and chaotic and complicated as fuck.”
“I know. And I think you’re amazing, dammit.”
Riko
This thing with my roommate is surreal.
I fell asleep in Derek’s arms last night and it was the best rest I’ve had in ages. How he slipped out from behind me, got ready for work, and left without me realizing it is surprising. And disappointing. I’ve missed him all day.
Don’t text him again.
Don’t do it.
I’m bored as I wait to be seen by Casey, so I do it anyway.
Me: How do you feel about ribeyes, baked potatoes, and salad for dinner?
He doesn’t respond right away which means he’s driving. Derek isn’t careless. Safety with his job is important. I know he’ll respond soon.
“Riko,” Drew says, motioning for me to follow him. “You ready?”
I frown as I get to my feet. “Where’s Satan this lovely afternoon?”
He smirks over his shoulder at me. “Restroom. Something didn’t agree with her at lunch. I told her I’d get you started.”
Drew’s hot and fills out his button-down dress shirt in all the right places, but he doesn’t hold a candle to Derek’s physique. I’m dying to lick Derek’s abs. Dying.
I make my way into my usual room with Drew. He’s never done my therapy before, so I’m unsure what to expect. Can’t be any more painful than what Casey doles out.
Ten minutes in and I realize how wrong I am. Clearly, Casey learned everything she knew from her boss.
“Fuck, man, are you trying to kill me?” I bellow, fisting my hands. “This place is evil. You’re all villains.”
He snorts out a laugh. “I’m trying to figure out who’s the bigger crybaby around here. Is it you or my wife? It’s a tossup.”
I flip him off and he laughs again. Asshole. I’m thankful when Casey finally shows up. Since she’s pale and doesn’t look so hot, I can hopefully count on her going easy on me. Drew finishes up the massage and then leaves so Casey can start with the stretches.
“Bad Chinese food for lunch?” I ask with an arched brow.
She frowns and lowers her voice. “I don’t think it’s food.”
