I put my hand on his shoulder, I can see he is taking this really hard. Liv has come to mean a lot to all of us.
“Thanks brother, we will get her back. Let me know once you have something. I need to ring Archer and let him know what’s happened.”
Keys nods but never looks away from the screen. I head for my office and take a seat in my chair. I don’t want to make this call but I know I have to and maybe Archer might have some information that can help. Taking a deep breath, I dial him.
“Chaos, how’s Livie girl?” he asks
“Archer…” I start not knowing how really to start or finish.
“What’s happened?” His voice instantly tight and not as relaxed as it was at the start.
“Dyno has taken Liv. I tried to catch them but we lost them in traffic. I’m sorry but I am going to get her back.”
Silence is what greets me. Nothing but the heavy breathing of Archer trying to rain his temper in.
“Okay, we know its Dyno because seriously it will be no one else. Let me make some calls and put some feelers out. The boys and me will head your way, between us we will get her back.”
I let go of the breath I didn’t realise I was holding.
“Thank you, Archer.”
“Anything for Livie girl. We’ve let her down too much in the past, we won’t let her down again.” With that he ends the call.
I stay in my office a little while longer just gathering my thoughts. I need to stay in control and level headed if I’m going to get Liv back safely. Knowing I have hidden myself away long enough and it will only take Archer around an hour and half to two hours tops to get here I leave my office. Its already been an hour since we spoke. Hitting the main room, I find it empty. Turning back around, I head to Keys room. Opening his door, I find the room cramped with all my brothers. Each and every one of them, including the prospects are helping him.
This is family.
“Archer and his boys are on their way. Should be here within the hour. Havoc, can you set rooms up please?”
Nodding, he places the laptop down and heads out. Mayhem who was manning one of the many computer screens, picks the laptop up and starts where Havoc left off.
“I think I found something,” shouts Riot.
Keys whizzes past me on his office chair, nearly taking my toes with him if I hadn’t managed to jump out of his way. His sole focus on the laptop he swiped out of Riot’s hands. We all wait with baited breath to see what he’s found. I feel my phone vibrating in my pocket, so I step out the room to answer.
“Chaos.”
“Ahh Chaos, I think you may be missing something.”
That fucking prick Dyno has called me to gloat.
Stepping back into the room, I tap Keys on the shoulder and point to my phone.
“Dyno you cocksucking leech. Yes, you do have something that doesn’t belong to you, but don’t worry, you won’t have her for long”
His laugh bellows down the phone.
“You will never find her. Give it up, the best man won. I have the club and the princess. Nothing you or any of these biker wannabes can do anything about it.”
I can, Keys is frantically clicking away at his computer, tracing the call. He makes a rolling motion with his fingers as if to say keep him talking.
“Yeah, how did a brainless idiot like you manage to take over a whole MC?”
I’m trying to goad him just enough so gives me more information than he means to, without pissing him off too much that he puts the phone down on me.
“That Chaos my friend, was the easy part. Judge was an old fool and his son an even bigger idiot. So easy to dispose of, like child’s play really.”
He’s so cocky and arrogant; it is going to be his downfall.
