“Good, I’ll pick you up at the rear of the compound. Black SUV. Can you get out that way?” I ask, bringing the compound up on my satellite maps.

“Yes, but need thirty minutes,” Carrie says.

“You have fifteen minutes, be quick. You’re not there. I won’t wait. You can fill me in properly once I pick you up,” I tell her, already moving to get changed and ending the call.

I’m dressed, loaded, and in the car within five minutes. I quickly send a text to Willow to let her know what’s happening, as I have both her and Rose in town with me. They are the best at surveillance and hacking, but also two of my closest friends.

It’s not long before I’m pulling around the back of the compound. I’m only waiting a few minutes when I see two figures appear on the road. I flash my lights and start to pull up to them.

“Pandora?” Carrie asks as she climbs into the passenger seat.

Nodding, I notice Kate climbs in the back.

“Should have checked before you climbed in,” I tell her.

“Knew it was you from the picture I have,” she tells me with a smirk.

Shaking my head, I drive us to the motel on the edge of town, where Willow and Rose are based. Entering the room, the desk is covered in computer equipment, and the bed is covered in our available arsenal.

“Willow, Rose, this is Carrie and Kate,” I introduce everyone.

“Right, want to tell me what trouble Tank and the club are in?” I demand, taking a seat on the edge of the bed.

Carrie goes straight into explaining Dog’s behavior and how the run ended. Wire, their computer guy, is missing, and another member, Wrench, is fighting for his life. Carrie sits with Willow, going over all the information she knows about this Dog guy, and Rose is working with Kate. It’s not long before my phone buzzes with a text message. Checking it, I find it’s from Tank.

“Erm Carrie. Does Tank or Joker know you reached out for help?” I ask her.

“No, they would have stopped me,” she replies.

Nodding my agreement, I text Tank back as if I know nothing. It’s not long before his texts start to sound like he knows.

“Think they know Carrie. Tank is messaging me about you,” I warn her.

“If they know now, nothing they can do,” she shrugs.

Laughing at her response, I nod and text Tank back, letting them know both Carrie and Kate are safe.

“Erm Pandora, does this Dog guy look familiar?” Willow asks.

Moving over to her computer, I try to get a better look at the photo.

“Yeah, he does, but I can’t place him. Maybe we’ve seen him around town,” I suggest, but something is not sitting right with that, and looking at Willow, she agrees.

I stare at the photo a little longer before it comes to me.

“Holy fuck. Willow, bring up the surveillance footage from the warehouse,” I say as it finally comes to me.

Willow works quickly, bringing up the pictures.

“Find the one of the biker.”

Putting them side by side, you can see they match.

“So, Dog is our mystery biker?” Rose asks though it sounds more like a statement.

“Carrie, I need you to answer honestly now, though I already know it,” I warn her.

Nodding, she focuses on me.
