“It’s goin’. You think y’all are ready to do this shit without us around?”

“Hell yeah. We got this.” He takes a sip of his beer. “I spoke with Bull earlier. He’s putting me in contact with some of his suppliers.”

“Good deal.” My eyes find Wren. She’s laughing at something one of the girls said. I’ve never seen her more in her element. I hope she’s this happy at home, too.

“Enough shop talk. Sketch, how do you feel about us having a couple tag-a-longs to Texas,” Clutch asks.

“Depends on who it is.”

“Aria and Raven,” he tells me.

“Aria, huh?” I turn to face him.

He shrugs a shoulder, taking a drink of his beer. “Yeah. I mean, only if she wants to come.”

“And Raven?”

“Kicks wants her there with him. Plus, Raven has seemed lost since he left,” Gator tells me.

“I’m cool with that. They can ride back in my Civic with Wren.” Our conversation is cut short by Claws.

“Hey, fellas,” she purrs out.

I stand up, and her eyes light up as I walk toward her but fall as I walk past her. Clutch and Gator burst into laughter behind me. I walk up to Wren and the girls.

“Hey, ladies.” I wrap my arms around Wren’s waist.

“Y’all are too fucking cute.” Aria points her phone at us. “Say cheese.”

I tickle Wren’s side, earning a giggle from her and I smile. Aria snaps a picture.

“That’s a good one!” She shows Wren and me the picture.

“Aw! Send that to me please,” Wren requests.

“Aria, Clutch wanted to talk to you,” I tell her.

“I’ll be back.” She walks away, grinning.

“Raven, have you been talking with Kicks,” I ask her.

“Every day, why?” she says curiously.

“Want to come with us to Texas so you can see him?”

“What? Are you serious? Hell yeah, I want to go!” A smile spreads across her face. “I’m going to go call him now.”

“So that’s who she has a thing for,” Wren says. She turns in my arms, so she’s facing me and wraps her arms around my waist.

“Yup. Crazy to think Kicks found someone to hold him down, huh?”

“He’s not someone I expected to ever settle for one girl,” she tells me.

A short time later, Luke and the guys from the shop show up. We sit around talking with everyone for the rest of the night. Nothing like club parties back in Texas, but they’ll get there. I love Texas, but I sure do miss living out here. I’ll have to bring Wren back out here to meet Mama Maggie soon.

The rideback to Texas was pure torture. I wanted Wren on the back of my bike with her arms wrapped around my waist, but she needed to drive my Civic back. Raven rode with her, while Aria rode back with Clutch. We pull up to the clubhouse around four o’clock. I watch Wren climb out of the car and all I want to do is kiss her, to let my hands roam over her body. But we haven’t told Shade about us yet. We wanted to talk to him about it in person.
