He kissed her hard as his shadows dove inside of her. She came hard, her pussy clenching around his shadows, desperate to be filled with his heated erection. The need for him was only there for a moment as he plunged his cock inside her in one thrust. She screamed into his mouth and he kissed her through it. Her orgasm dragged out as he fucked her with feral abandon. After only a few minutes, he came inside of her with a roar, thrusting hard, filling her with everything. And when he was done, when she was spent, he stepped back while she still hung there, strung up by his shadows, and watched both their releases drip out of her.

They had been walking for thirty minutes, and visions of what they had done were burned inside his mind. Ellea’s pale skin flushed with need, her chest heaving with desperate breaths…the way she’d screamed into his mouth when his shadows fucked her, and when he’d buried his cock inside of her, her wet heat consuming him…He would never get the beautiful image out of his head, ever.

“Stop it.” She smacked him on the arm. “If you keep that up, we will never make it back.”

The past few weeks had been something out of a book, a life he never could have imagined for himself. It was almost enough to suppress the darkness that crept through their lives, almost enough for him to forget that it would come to an end. It was only a matter of time until this happy bubble broke.

All of it was pushed to the back of his mind as he thought about the demon in the forest. How did it get here? Was Belias behind it? It sure as Hel felt like it. Add to that the vampire attacks last week, and it was undeniable that things were ramping up and getting too close to home.

Ellea broke him from his spiral. She asked, “What’s it like in Hel?”

They hadn’t talked much about it; she seemed to want to live in the happy bubble too.

“It’s like... Hel.” He sighed. “The shorter version is that it’s like any dark kingdom you’ve read about in a book. Big black castle, different areas to rule over, asshole rulers, and their bratty kids.”

“You’re only a little bit bratty.” Her smile was warm and teasing. “But how are both you and Belias ‘princes?’ I’m still not convinced you’re one.”

“Trust me, I don’t want to be one.” He took another breath. He hated talking about this part of himself. He had been topside for over a thousand years, and he felt more human than demon. “With Hel being split into its four parts, each realm has a ruler. So Belias comes from one part, and I come from another.”

“Do you have other cousins like Belias?”

“No one is like Belias,” he said with a frown.

“You’re right about that, cousin.” The dark voice slithered to his ears before Belias appeared in front of them. Ros instinctively moved to stand in front of Ellea.

I really need to stop saying his name out loud.

Ellea peeked around his bicep and scowled at him. “I would like to remind you that I took care of myself last time he was here.” She took a step to stand next to Ros.

“What do you want, Bel?” He hated that he was here and near Ellea, but he wasn’t too surprised. Where demons lurked, Belias would be too.

“I’ve come to give you one last chance to accept my deal,” he said with his hand on his chest. “I offered it to Ellea too.”

“What deal?” Ellea asked. Belias began to speak, but Ros stopped him with a band of shadows around his mouth.

“No deal, Bel. I am not interested in whatever you’re planning or working with you,” Ros said as Belias tried to get the shadows away from his mouth. He didn’t want Ellea anywhere near Hel or his family.

Belias magicked the shadows off of his mouth and scowled at Ros before turning to Ellea. Ros took a step to cover her again, and she pushed him out of the way. “Ellea, my offer still stands.”

“No.” It was stern and final.

“Are you sure?” Belias asked with a raised brow. “You may find you like some other...tricks that Hel can offer. I would hate to see you tied to this place.”

“No.” She took a step and pressed herself against Ros’ side. “I’m fine where I am.”

Anger flashed across Belias’ face for a moment before it was replaced with boredom.

“Fine. See you two around.” He stepped back into a mass of shadows and disappeared.

“Yeah,” she said with a shiver. “No one is likehim.”

Ros shook his head and sighed, guiding them toward home while his thoughts whirled with darkness. “I hope you never have to meet the rest of my family.”

Leaves rustled nearby, and Ros stepped in front of Ellea again. “I swear to the Gods, if you do that one more time, I’m really going to kick your ass.”
