“Am I to guess that those three are the same three—”

She gave him a look that stopped his question. “I didn’t ask about your sexcapades while we were in Hel. Now don’t kill them. We have enough to deal with.”

“No promises,” he said as they headed toward the hostess.

Ellea pulled at her dress, a little sad that Ros had put her sword in a shadow pocket. It would have drawn attention, but she felt naked. She wondered if wearing it would have scared people off or made the restaurant owner refuse them service. She glanced at Ros as they neared the door, and his face was pure smugness with a hint of I can kill you with a thought.

The young hostess dropped her tablet as Ros neared, her mouth wide. Her eyes seemed to glaze over at the sight of him.

Yeah, yeah, he’s hot.

Ellea glanced at Aiden, who had a look to match the hostesses.

Luke nudged him, waggling his eyebrows before saying, “Look who the cat dragged in.”

“This is Rosier. Rosier, this is Isaac and Aiden.”

Ros gave Aiden a small nod while the sweet man was trying to remember how to swallow. Ros did not return the favor to Isaac.

“I had the worst conversation with a man who looks like you less than an hour ago,” Ros said, sizing up Isaac. “Gods, he was an ass.”

“Simon, my father. He did say he was going to be meeting a few brutes today,” Isaac said with a sneer.

“And you so happen to be at a restaurant around the corner, Zack?” Ros said to Isaac. Ellea knew he knew his name; he must have been using the wrong name on purpose. “What a crazy coincidence.”

Ellea pressed her lips together. She and Isaac had run into each other at this restaurant several times after council meetings. Of course…

“It’s Isaac,” he hissed.

“Right.” Ros turned to the hostess and gave her a winning grin. Ellea was certain panties were burning somewhere with a look like that.

“Five?” the hostess squeaked.

“No,” Ros and Isaac said together.

She quickly gathered up the menus and opened the door for the three men.

“Have a sumptuous dinner. It was great meeting you, Luke and Aiden.” He gave them the same grin, and Aiden blushed. “Zack, enjoy your evening.”

Luke pushed Isaac through the doors before he could say anything, and Aiden gave her a small wave.

“Gods, you’re horrible—”

Ellea was quickly cut off as Ros pressed a searing kiss to her lips. She melted, her anxiety quickly replaced with need. Forget dinner, she wanted to go home and have a big demon prince for dinner and dessert. He pulled away and nipped at her bottom lip.

“Yes, princess.” He kissed her roughly again, grabbing her ass and pressing them together. “And remember how much you like it.”

The hostess coughed behind them, and Ellea turned toward her. She could have sworn she mouthed “lucky bitch” as she fanned herself with the menu. Ellea gave her a small smirk as she found the strength to walk.

She wound them through the restaurant and gestured at a table in the middle. Ros shook his head and pointed to a dark booth in the back. The hostess obliged and guided them there.

“Enjoy your dinner,” she said breathlessly.

“Prince of Shadows wants the dark booth?” Ellea asked after reading through the menu. She ignored the angry glances from Isaac. She could just see him in her peripherals.

“Yes, so he can play with his princess,” he said, whispering in her ear.

“You wouldn’t.”
