‘Yes, my queen,’ he whisper-growled in my ear, and I pressed him into me as deeply as I could. My restraint breaking, I toreapart and screamed as I crumpled into him, shaking, pulsing, and gasping as he filled me with his release.
After we caught our breaths, he nibbled my ear and said, ‘I would like to take you out.’

‘That would be… nice.’ I grinned. The breath he held released in a slow whoosh. ‘Where?’
‘A meal, and then a nightclub?’ He shrugged. ‘You enjoy dancing. You can choose.’
‘That would be perfect. Thank you,’ I whispered.
I unwrapped my legs from around his waist, and he placed me on my feet. ‘I must leave. Before we meet the high priestesses and priests, I’m meeting with Poseidon and Zeus.’
My ears pricked. ‘Can I come? To meet them?’
‘Yes.’ He grinned and kissed my mouth. ‘Now, please let me get showered.’ He cocked his head. I swaggered from the bathroom and giggled when I heard him mutter, ‘Fates, that arse.’
An hour later, after a long soak in Hades’ bath, I slipped on the shirt he had been wearing, which, on me, looked like a circus tent, then walked into my suite. Tee was waiting for me—the table was laden with breakfast for two.
‘Hi,’ I mumbled, still pissed at her.
‘I’m sorry, Sephy. Honestly… I shouldn’t have interfered. I?—’
‘I know.’ I sighed. ‘It’s fine. I know you were looking out for me.’ My gaze met hers, and relief softened the taut muscles in her face.
‘Breakfast?’ She flashed me a coy smile.
‘Yes. I’m starving.’
‘Sex is a great appetite stimulant,’ Tee said with a cheeky grin. I felt blood rush to my cheeks, and she erupted with laughter. ‘So, you’ve finally realised you love him. And you’ve had sex.’ I grinned and nodded. ‘Your glow is almost ethereal,’ she remarked as her eyes took me in.
‘My glow?’
‘Yes. He’s claimed you, and you’ve accepted the soul bond. It serves as a warning to others that you’re his, and they’d face his wrath should anyone attempt to take you.’
‘Oh.’ I twisted my mouth to the side in thought.
‘Anyway, thank fuck you’ve come to your senses.’ Her grin nearly split her face. ‘Come on. Let’s eat.’
Once I’d had my fill of waffles and syrup, I sipped my dark-roasted coffee and sighed. ‘Love is nice,’ I murmured, my eyes locking with Tee’s. ‘I’ve fallen hard, Tee.’ I’d fallen like a freaking meteorite colliding with the Earth.
‘You mean you’ve finally admitted to loving him, Sephy. You never really stopped loving him.’ Tee said with a raised brow.
I responded to her with a smug smile. ‘He asked me out on a date. Like a mortal world date. To a nightclub or something.’
‘I think he’s wooing you.’
I laughed. ‘Don’t be ridiculous.’ I felt a weird, gooey sensation deep in the pit of my stomach. Was he wooing me? ‘Itisme he wants and not the old me, isn’t it?’ I was still worried. Irrational, but nonetheless.
‘Sephy, she is you. You are her. You’re no different, babe. Don’t fret.’
I nodded and smiled. ‘Oh, my gods, Tee. Vaginal orgasms are going to ruin my life. It’s all I can think about.’ I dug a knuckle into my eye as I released a withering sound. ‘Sex with him is just… mind-blowing. It’s entirely possible that my brain and ovaries have swapped places.
