Don’t worry, Seg…you’re sexy. We’re all sexy as hell

Kaycee:

But you’re my cuties.

Seger:

Fckin fine…. we are cuties.

Kaycee:

Have a good dinner with your dad

Seger:

Thankfully I won’t see that demon bitch there today.

Zepp:

See you guys later… Kace call Chase if you need to leave… just for safety.

Kaycee:

Aye, aye, captain.

Chase:

Have no fear, boyfriend number 1 is here.

Seger:

Who tf said you are number one?

Chase:

Says me… considering I’m staying.

Seger:

Baby, sort this out. Who is number 1?

Kaycee:

Yeah—I’m not answering that.

Theboyscontinuetoargue for another five minutes, begging me to tell them who is number one. I snort. No way in hell am I giving them an answer. So, I let them stew on that one.

Zepp figured we should connect as a unit while they went off campus for dinner with their father and their five-year-old little brother. It thrilled them to get an invitation back home. They practically bounced around their living room after getting the call. But they were more excited to see their little brother Hendrix than their ailing father. I toggle over to my private messaging app, clicking on Tristan’s name and sigh. The same heavy, clawing of longing scratches at the back of my mind, begging me to reach out to him. I miss him. All of him. The last time he and I spoke was a few days ago in passing. Ever since he admitted to meeting someone, he’s quieted down. And I have, too. We’ve gone through spells like this before, but it still tugs at my heart. My best friend is at my fingertips, but we can’t seem to connect right now. Eventually, if the boys and I become serious, I’ll confess my online male friend to them. Knowing Seger and Chase, though, they’d toss him into our harem with a laugh. Wouldn’t that be the day? That’s the last thing I need. Another one. Ha.

Me:

No bullshit, I miss you. It’s been too long.

My eyes lock on the message, my heart pounding against my chest. Usually, when we’ve distanced ourselves from each other, it takes a little to respond, but not today. Today Tristan is as quick as he used to be.

Tristan:
