He works his fingers in and crooks them at the perfect angle, and that’s all I can take. I come for him just like he knew I would, and he cleans up the mess I made with his mouth and tongue.
He sits back and looks up at me as I catch my breath and smile back at him.
“You like when I eat your pussy?” he asks me.
“I love it.”
“Good girl.” Now my smile gets bigger as he stands and helps me off the counter. I adjust the shirt when he comes up behind meand slaps my ass roughly. I yelp, but then he grabs my hand and leads me back to the bedroom, where he pulls the blankets back and helps me in.
“Should we really be staying here?” I ask, glancing around the room.
“Why not?”
“I don’t know. It’s not … home.”
“One day, a place like this will be.”
“You think so?” I ask, looking back over at him now.
“Yeah, I do. I’m going to do it, Chula. I’m going to take him up on the offer.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. I want everything for you. I want you to have whatever you want, and I want to be the one to provide it, but not like this. Not like I have been.”
“Crew isn’t easy to leave,” I tell him, thinking about the fact I’ve been gone for so long and Rafe may very well come looking for me.
“I know that. But I’m hoping the guys will understand where I stand with all this,” he tells me.
“I’m sure they will.”
“What about you? You were supposed to go back,” he reminds me.
“I’m not going back, Marco. I’m never going back,” I tell him. He nods his head and lays down next to me, pulling the blanket over us both. I scoot over and get as close as I can before resting my head on his chest and listening to his heartbeat.
I don’t know how long we sleep, but when I wake up, he’s awake too. He’s pacing the room, running his hand through his hair.
“What’s wrong?”
“I don’t know. Something. Everything.”
“Come back to bed,” I tell him.
“I can’t sleep here.” I nod my head and climb off the bed, grabbing my clothes and pulling them on, passing Marco his shirt. He’s already in his jeans and shoes.
“Let’s go home,” I tell him.
“You want to?”
“Not my apartment, no.”
“Your home is with me, Chula.” My heart feels like it’s going to explode from the way it’s beating so quickly. I don’t think I could love anyone more than I love him.
“I don’t know if you realize how much you mean to me,” I tell him truthfully.
“Yeah, I think I do. Because you mean the same to me.”
“Let’s go home.” Marco nods and grabs my hand, leading me out of the room and toward the door. We close the door behind us softly so we don’t wake Damion, and then we’re in the elevator. We ride it down and then head back out until we get to the sidewalk.
