Max began to deny the Trent thing but decided to go with it. He imagined Trent again on his knees, sucking his cock into his mouth; the warmth enclosing around his cock and being swallowed at the back of his throat. A hand grabbed his and reached it to his hair so Max gripped tight, using his hands to control his head. Trent swallowed every time Max’s cock hit the back of this throat, the cool air in sharp contrast as he withdrew.

A low vibration started along his cock as he moved in and out, increasing his speed. Soon he lifted his hips and pulling his head towards him as he reached for his climax. He saw Trent looking up at him as his mouth was full of cock and trying to smile, and Max was done.

“I’m coming!” he shouted just before his come began to release into Trent’s throat. “Fuck!” He kept pumping until there was nothing left, then he collapsed back in the chair, breathing heavily.

He opened his eyes as his cock was released from the warmth and saw Frederick wiping the corner of his mouth. Frederick looked at him and smirked. “You could have shouted Trent’s name. I wouldn’t have minded.”

“Iwould’ve. It’s disrespectful.” Max smiled. “Thank you. I appreciate your help.”

“My pleasure.” Frederick laughed at Max’s obvious disbelief. “I said, I didn’t do it often, not that I didn’t enjoy doing it.”

Max chuckled, then sobered. “I mean it, thank you. I’ve no idea what’s going on at the minute, but I definitely needed that release.”

“I know what’s wrong, Max.You want Trent, and you can’t have him. Your mind is telling you that only he can be the one to give you pleasure. You need to teach it otherwise.”

Max studied Frederick. “How did you know?”

“About Trent?” At Max’s nod, he continued. “You couldn’t keep your eyes off him while we were at the party. When you first saw him, your face lit up. I’ve never seen you like that. And when he left, you almost deflated. It’s not obvious to everyone, don’t worry. But the more observant people will pick up on it. Like your friend, Logan. He knows.”

“I had a feeling he did.” Max blew out a breath. “Oh well. Nothing I can do about that now. I best get going.”

“Come see me if you need to, Max. I mean that. You don’t need to book, just ring me.”

“Thanks.” Max left the room, both happy for Frederick’s offer and sad because he knew he was in trouble.

As he walked through the common area where members mingle, he had to squeeze past several people. He hadn’t realised how busy it had gotten. Seeing a bit of a gap near the entrance, he slowly made his way between the crowd, brushing against people as he went. With an “Excuse me,” he brushed past a guy, who had his hand underneath a girl’s skirt. The guy turned and pushed Max away from him, hard.

“Woah!” Max raised his arms in a defence gesture as the music immediately stopped, and the crowd turned to watch what happened.

The guy looked around and smirked. “What? You want a piece of my ass? The only way you’re getting that is if you kick it—not kiss it.” He walked right up to Max, as close to his face as he could get without touching. Max made sure not to move. “Touch me again—”

His words were cut off as a bouncer yanked on the back of the guy’s shirt and bodily dragged him to the exit.

“Hey, you okay?” Frederick stood next to him.

Max sighed. “Yeah, I think so. No idea what that was about. How did you know…”

Frederick indicated the lights above. “The safety strobes were triggered.”

Max hadn’t even noticed the pink lights were still flashing. Pink lights meant there was an altercation in the common area; different colours meant different areas of the club. At that moment, the strobes turned off, and everyone went back to what they’d been doing before.

“You won’t have to worry about that guy anymore. He was clearly new, and reckless, and obviously hadn’t read the guidelines.”

“What do you mean?”

“Being an initiator in a non-scened altercation on any AN premises means immediate membership termination.”

Once Frederick explained, Max remembered reading it in the guidelines. “Well, thanks for the save. I’m going to head home.”

Frederick clapped him on the shoulder and squeezed. “Take it easy. You know where I am if you need anything.” Then he was gone into the crowd. With another sigh, Max left and headed home.

Trent

Trent was going to have to get a taxi home. His thought of only having one beer went up in smoke when he saw Max with that Frederick guy. He honestly couldn’t remember how many beers he’d consumed by this point, but in his favour was the fact that he could still think coherently. He looked around Crush, noticing there was still loads of customers. He had no idea what the time was, but it felt late. Sean and Asher had gone home already, but Logan kept him company. Although he probably wasn’t much use either.

Behind him, he heard raised voices but ignored it until a small voice said, “I said get lost.” The voice didn’t hold much conviction, and Trent almost ignored it again, but his instincts were pricking at him. He turned to look and saw a guy crowding a young girl, about Jocelyn’s age, against the wall. His brain was slower than usual, but notthatslow. He continued to watch for a few seconds, but he knew he had to intervene when he saw the girl try to push the guy away and the guy just gripped the wrist and slammed it back against the wall.
