Ben sighed. “What did I ever do to deserve you?”
“You lived.”
Ben closed his eyes to stop the tears from escaping at such a simple statement. Gareth kissed his forehead, and Ben climbed into the car. By the time they arrived at Gareth’s house, Ben had recovered and was brimming with energy about that night. He still had flutters in his stomach because he wasn’t sure anyone would turn up, but no matter what, he’d tried. And if no one turned up, Bound was not far away. They could visit there instead.
“I forgot to mention, Caleb is almost finished with the beta version of the app,” Gareth said.
Ben almost tripped on the stairs, but his Daddy steadied him. “He is? That didn’t take him long.”
“He said he made it simple to allow more people to access it. If you add too many variables to it, it not only gets complicated, but it gets more expensive, too.”
“Did he say when people could start trying it?” Ben asked, sitting on the bed.
Gareth stood in front of him. “Maybe a week or so. We need to get people to sign up for the beta version to help us iron out the bugs.”
“I’m sure you’ll have plenty of volunteers.”
Caleb Duncan was a computer genius. Gareth had hired him to create an app when his blog post about linking Daddies to boys went nuts. Well, hired was a loose word. Caleb was a Daddy himself, struggling, as many seemed to be, to find his boy. When he’d seen Gareth’s post, he got in contact and offered his services free of charge. They met, and within days, Caleb had a basic app created. Over the past few weeks, they’d tweaked it, and now it was almost complete.
“Right, sweetheart. Time for a bath.”
Ben’s heart raced. This was one of his favourite activities. “Are you joining me?”
“Of course.” Ben jumped up and ran to the bathroom, almost colliding with the door frame in his rush to get there. “Slow down!” Gareth followed him into the room, shaking his head. “You’re going to injure yourself one of these days.”
Ben grinned, already stripping out of his clothes. Gareth set the bath running, added a healthy amount of bubble bath and faced him. Ben latched on to Gareth’s clothes, undoing buttons and zips, sliding items off his body until he was as naked as Ben was.
“I have a treat for you tonight,” Gareth whispered against his lips.
Ben licked his lips, catching Gareth’s in the process. “What?”
“Patience, my boy.”
Ben lifted his chin, and Gareth obliged the unspoken request, closing the distance between them. He pushed Ben back, making him arch away from the cold tiles, and devoured him. Ben lost all sense of time as Gareth kissed him and kissed him and kissed him.
Finally, his Daddy lifted his head, smoothing his mouth across Ben’s cheek to his ear, “Time for a bath.”
Ben whimpered, not wanting to move when he was content where he was, but Gareth stepped back, and cold air rushed in his place. Ben shivered. Gareth crouched in front of him, producing the key for the cage from somewhere, freeing Ben from its constraints. The moment he was free, he began to fill, and Gareth chuckled.
“Always so eager.”
Gareth held out his hand and helped Ben into the warm water. Ben stood in the water while Gareth settled in first, then Ben slipped between his legs, his back to Gareth’s front. As his Daddy’s arms and legs came around him, Ben closed his eyes and enjoyed every second of feeling cared for and loved.
Gareth’s hands skimmed over his skin, highly sensitising it. He dribbled water over his nipples and collarbone, and Ben hummed as low-level arousal started in his stomach. Their baths always ended with a happy ending for them both, but each time, Gareth did something different, and Ben couldn’t wait.
He dropped his head back onto Gareth’s shoulder and sank into the feelings Gareth evoked. The hard cock at his lower back was evidence that his Daddy was not immune, and Ben writhed in the water, pressing back against him.
“Patience,” Gareth murmured.
“Want you.”
“And I you, but enjoy the ride.”
