“Her.” Bram pointed across the room to an older woman, who I recognized as Joanne from Dinner Thyme. “We want her to wait on us.”

“Bram,” I scolded, looking at Cam for help, who then looked at Cade, then over his shoulder at Joanne.

“That'll be all, Cade. Thank you,” Cam told the young man, and he turned and walked off with his shoulders slumped.

“What the hell are you doing? Trying to crush that poor boy's self-esteem? You will all be apologizing to him before we go and leaving a massive tip,” I fumed.

“I didn't like the cut of his jib. Good call, boys,” Faris piped up.

“The cut of his jib? What are we? In the nineteenth century?” I threw my hands up.What was happening here? Happy, crying, angry... oh. Baby. Babies.

“Joanne! Long time no see. How have you been, doll? New gig?” Kai greeted the woman, and I reined in my wild mood.

“Hello, Kai,” she said and then nodded at me. “Hi, Saige.” Joanne smiled kindly, and I felt myself relaxing as I returned it. “Yeah, I needed to pick up a job to get a little extra, so here I am.”

We caught up briefly before she took our drink orders. The guys all ordered a mix of beer and liquor so when I ordered a Diet Dr. Pepper, I got a few curious glances.

“Are you guys ready to order your food or would you like to do that when I return with the drinks?” Joanne asked politely, and I realized I hadn't even glanced at the menu.

“We'll be ready when you come back,” Fischer said, chuckling at the way I started frantically scanning the menu. Joanne disappeared toward the bar, and we all made up our minds on what we wanted.

I glanced at Faris who was eyeing his steak knife with rapt attention. “Faris, did you see anything you might want to try?”

His eyes met mine. “I'm going to inquire about the pasta.”

Bram snorted. “Of course you are. What about a very rare steak?”

“I don't want to order a whole steak. What if I don't like it?” Faris asked, looking a bit stressed.

Bram's face softened, also picking up on Faris' discomfort. “I was going to order a huge steak anyway, and I always get rare. You can still get your pasta, and try some of my steak if you'd like?” he offered, and Faris nodded once.

This was one of the things I loved about my guys. They were so in tune and compassionate with each other; I loved seeing it.

“What are you grinning about, sweetheart?” Fischer asked.

I glanced around at each of my men. “I just love how we’re all in this together. The love you have for each other makes me so happy.” I also loved seeing them together. Touching. Kissing. My cheeks heated, and Fischer groaned softly.

Sloane’s eyes narrowed on me. “What are you thinking about, kitten?”

Everyone’s eyes were on me now and I squirmed in my chair. “Nothing,” I lied.

Bram chuckled. “You’re thinking about us naked, aren’t you?”

“She totally is,” Kai teased.

“Together. She was thinking about us naked. Together,” Guppy supplied and I pretended to be outraged that he’d give up my secrets like that. But it wasn’t really a secret.

Faris gasped dramatically and winked at me as he flicked his tongue piercing out between his plump lips.

“Fine. Yes, I admit it.” I dropped my voice to a whisper. “It’s just so hot. Like, hottest thing I’ve ever seen hot. So please, if you want to do anything like that, just go where your dicks guide you.”

Cam barked a laugh and the others joined. “You’re encouraging us to sleep together?” he asked once he’d calmed down.

I shrugged. “As long as we’re faithful to the people at this table, I don’t see a problem with it.” Judging by the amount of shifting in their chairs and discreet hands slipping under the table, I’d say they didn’t have a problem with it either. I smiled and unfolded my napkin.Serves them right, trying to wind me up.

Joanne returned with our drinks at that moment and we placed our orders.

“Good idea about getting us out of the house, Red.” Sloane tipped his glass at me and took a little sip.
