“Oh, I know it's—”

She cut him off. “You'd think that you wouldn't be poking fun at Bram. I bet the stars are going to grace your daughter with your uncanny ability for snark.”

“My what?” Sloane whispered. I know I’d definitely heard what she said, and so did everyone else, by the way we all perked up.

“A little girl? Are you sure?” Fischer asked in awe. “And she's Sloane's?” I swear his entire body swooned as he swayed on his feet.

“That's what Vaeryn, the dragon, told me. I know it to be true with my entire being though,” she replied, as Bram groaned, coming to.

Everyone was looking at Sloane now, his face draining of color. “M–my baby girl?” Suddenly, his eyes rolled up in his head and he went down too.

“Oh fuck, someone grab him!” I shouted, as he was the next one to faint. Fischer was just able to slip a hand under his head before he crashed to the floor.

“Well, that went well,” Saige murmured, moving to take a seat on the edge of the couch.

Kai was so excited, he was practically prancing around the room. “Cub? You said there's two. Is it two little girls?”

All eyes were back on our mate as she smiled, her hand coming to rest on her stomach. “They're both girls. I want you all to know that this wasn't expected. I mean, I had the heat cycle, but I took precautions with my spells and drank the AntiFertili-Tea. I always wanted to be a mom, but I pictured this happening a bit differently,” she explained, wiping her palms on her thighs.

“Are you unhappy? With this?” Fischer asked softly. I know it was the question we were all wondering.

Saige startled, looking up at us with wide eyes. “Stars, no.” She smiled again, looking absolutely radiant. “It's not the timing I would've chosen, but that's kind of how these things work, huh? And just to let you know—the girls aren’t both Sloane’s.”

Well, that’s another bombshell right there. Gods, I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited...

“Are you going to tell us who the other father is, Goldie?” Bram inquired. He was looking slightly better, though his face still looked clammy.

“I want you all to know, before she tells us, that regardless of who these girls’ biological fathers are, I will love them and cherish them. I'll raise them as an extension of myself, because you’re all my family,” Kai announced, and we nodded.

“Alright, up you go,” Fischer said, helping Sloane sit up and propping him against the couch.

Sloane blinked and looked around at us. “That wasn't planned.” He ran a hand through his hair, and Saige laughed, giving him a look full of love.

“I feel the same as Kai,” Faris spoke. “These babies will have six wonderful fathers and the most beautiful mother in all the realms.”

A grin tugged at my mouth as I watched my little witch's cheeks flush. I was curious about who the second baby was sired by, and I would've been lying if I said I wasn't hoping she was mine. But there was truth in what the guys were saying. In the end, it didn't matter. Both of these little princesses would be mine, just as much as theirs.

“Bram.”

“Yes, princess? What do you need?” he asked, scooting across the floor to get closer to her.

She grinned at him. “The other baby—she's yours.”

Kai leaned down and clapped Bram on the shoulder. “Just imagine how gorgeous her hair is going to be! I bet she'll have freckles too. Gods, I can't wait to meet them!”

Bram was still stunned into silence, and I teared up myself as tears began trickling down his cheeks. “I made a baby? A real baby,” he breathed. He seemed to be in shock, which was understandable, considering the difficulties his race had with fertility.

“Yes, my love. We made a baby, and she's going to be fierce.”

“Can someone grab some water? I think I might pass out again,” Bram said, wiping his cheeks.

Faris zipped out of the room like a blur and was back a second later, handing a bottle of water to the weeping demon.

“I can't believe this.” I looked around at my brothers and my mate—our family. “We're going to be dads!” I boomed, and Kai whooped, fist pumping the air.

“This is the best day!” he shouted, and Saige giggled.

“I love you guys,” she said, taking time to look at each of us, her words ringing true with devotion.
