Silver must catch it cause his hands are all over me again. My arms. My face. He’s tipping up my chin with his finger. Why can’t the man keep his hands off me? Between my food cravings and sexual cravings, I’m about ready to explode.

“You alright?” he rasps.

I nod and try to back away, but I’m pinned against the open pullout cabinet.

The Cheeto is melting in my mouth.

I want to crunch it.

I want to bite down on its crispy inside.

“No one understands privacy in this house,” the old man mutters. “Now, come here.”

Kissing sounds follow. Wet, licking, sucking, and slurping sounds with small moans and groans and a slew of other sounds between.

Silver bites down on his fisted hand. He squeezes his eyes shut and leans back against the shelf wall. I appreciate the distance, no matter how small, so that I can focus on one craving at a time.

The Cheeto melts on my tongue and burns it’s way down my throat. I miss the yogurt. I want the cool liquid to overtake the hotness burning my tongue. I pop in another one.

“I missed you,” Calvin Sr. huskily murmurs.

“I missed you, too,” Mrs. Fox purrs in a wickedly arousing way that even tickles my insides.

Good lord, I’m falling apart.

I can’t hold back. My teeth break the crunchy Cheeto outside.

Silver’s eyes fly open. He rips the bag from my hand. The crinkling noise is way louder than my little bite. But I swear if he doesn’t give me my snack, I’ll skin those pretty tattoos off him.

I chew.

His head shakes wildly.

I can’t stop. The taste and texture and hotness burning my mouth are so damn good. To the point, I don’t care if the hot and heavy couple hears me.

And they don’t. They’re hard of hearing and clearly don’t realize how loud their make-out session has erupted. Moans, groans, and whispers are at full tilt, echoing into my ears. I’m sure it’s piercing the shuttered doors too.

“We should get back.” Mrs. Fox’s plea brings a relieved sigh from Silver.

“Or we could sneak away,” his granddad suggests. “No one will miss us. We can sneak to the office in the barn. Or the garden shed. I enjoyed our tumble in the hay pile.”

I can’t control my smile. These two have clearly been sneaking around for quite some time, possibly long before the Wilde and Fox feud was resolved.

“I’m not missing the announcement,” Grammy Fox says. “I got my money on Silver.”

Silver’s gaze lands on me. My heart speeds up to the point I’m afraid everyone will hear it thundering in my chest.

“I’ll see if the coast is clear.” His granddad has stopped whispering altogether. The door creaks open. “It’s clear.”

They shuffle out, and the door closes behind them.

“Bloody hell,” Silver vents, raking his hands over his face. My eyes are well-adjusted to the darkness now. “I thought they were gonna go all the way. I thought there was gonna be thumping and humping and—”

I laugh.

“This is not funny.”

I snatch the bag of Cheetos back. “It’s adorable and funny that you, of all people, aren’t pro-granddad for getting some action at his age. That make-out session was getting me hot.”
