This makes her suck harder. I jerk my hips forward, plunging deeper into the back of her throat, her saliva pooling out of the corners of her lips and dripping down my cock as she bobs up and down. Rayne continues to stroke me with her hand, tongue and mouth in perfect rhythm. Curling my fist into her hair, I pull her down holding her tight around my cock. I’m so deep in the back of her throat she gags but she doesn’t stop.
“Swallow it all.” I grunt and give my hips one more hard thrust. I hit the back of her throat and my balls seize up. With my hands still holding her head down, I shake with the force of my release hitting the back of her throat.
I feel her throat constrict as she swallows, drinking down every last drop.
“That’s my girl.” I moan, relaxing my hold on her head. She slowly pulls back, drawing her tongue along my limp and sensitive cock making me hiss and jerk. When she reaches the tip she licks the wetness off my tip and traces her lips with her tongue.
“I didn’t hurt you did I?” Rayne asks, a coy smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
I hoist her up, positioning her against my left side, “That was fucking perfect.”
Curling into me, Rayne strokes her fingernails over my chest, “Thank you for not giving up on me. It’s going to hurt like hell to let her go but if we can find her parents, I’ll make it right.”
Stroking my fingers through her hair, she relaxes against my chest and drifts off to sleep. My silence tastes like betrayal but I can’t tell her. I have direct orders from my President and I can’t afford to fuck up again. No matter the costs.
Chapter 17
Rayne
When we step off the plane, there's a prospect waiting for us. Jase’s bike is securely strapped down in the back of the van and after installing the car seat, he drives Jase, Lilly and I back to the clubhouse. Despite the short distance, it feels like an eternity as we sit in tense silence, unable to talk openly with a stranger at the wheel. My earlier confession hangs between us like a heavy weight. So much was left unsaid. We have so many things to talk about, Hawk has taken years from us and we’re not the same people we were when we were kids. Yet there’s something familiar and comfortable still there. When I’m with him it’s like nothing has changed. Nothing that matters. My heart always belonged to him and it always will.
Trying hard to ease my nerves, Jase constantly strokes his fingers across the top of my hand. His touch is warm and reassuring but I can’t help the anxiety plaguing me. It’s been a long night and an even longer flight. My eyes are heavy from only a few hours of sleep, jet lag has gotten the best of us all. Lilly is sound asleep in her car seat and Jase’s head is tipped back against the seat, his eyes closed. Not mine. Despite the weightpulling them down, I stare out the window watching the small towns and farmland pass by my window. Alcott, Pennsylvania is a stark contrast from Barlow. It’s not at all what I expected although I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’ve never been out of California before. My tiring eyes catch an old building up ahead where Chainz and the others have pulled their bikes through the gate and the prospect turns in behind them. It reminds me of an old factory that sits off the military base back home. Cold brick and concrete that have seen better days.
The van's engine rumbles to a stop in a parking spot outlined with faded white lines while the others climb off their bikes. I can't help but steal a glance at Jase sitting next to me. The morning sun streams through the windshield illuminating the lines and angles of his face. The softness in his deep brown eyes and wide grin helps soothe the butterflies in my stomach.
As the prospect helps Jase out of the van, I unbuckle Lilly from her car seat and hoist her into my arms. She’s growing like a weed these days and she’s heavy in my tired arms. As I back away from the van and turn around, Chainz is looming over me. His sudden presence catching me off guard and sending my pulse racing again.
“Let me help you.” Chainz says lifting Lilly from my arms.
She’s awake now and seems content in his arms. Her tiny hands smash against his face, tugging at his beard. Chainz doesn’t grumble or bark at her like any of the Viper’s Den brothers would. Like Hawk would. He smiles at her and shifts her ever so softly onto his side watching her intently. Chainz is not Hawk I tell myself, but the way he cuts his eyes at me and stares at Lilly is unsettling. He’s not watching her in a way that makes me think he’d harm her but like he knows her and is trying to figure out from where. It's not possible though. Our paths have never crossed before they set foot in my bar and Lilly’s just a baby.
Before I can open my mouth to protest, Jase is by my side wrapping his arms around me, “It’s ok. You’re both safe here.”
I ease into Jase’s side and tell myself to relax as we follow into the clubhouse. Hawk’s cruelty has made me an untrusting person but I also know Chainz doesn’t trust me because of my affiliation with the Viper's Den. The thought only amps up my anxiety about what the future holds for us but I know Jase is right. As long as I’m with him we’re safe here and one day Chainz will learn to trust me.
Two of Jase’s brothers greet us with nods and gruff hellos from around a bar that sits off to the left as we make our way into the common area. The floors are concrete and the walls a stone washed brick.Old leather couches, armchairs and tables are scattered around the room, giving it a lived-in, worn-out charm. There’s a large screen TV hanging from the back wall where two more members of the club and a young girl who looks to be about fifteen or sixteen are watching the race. The three of them turn and acknowledge us but quickly return their attention back to the TV and trash talking each other. Behind them is a pool table and dart board. Their clubhouse isn’t that different from ours back home but the feeling I get standing here is worlds apart. This is a home. This is a family. It’s everything mine used to be when I was young. Before Hawk.
“You’re back.” I hear an excited voice shout. I follow the high pitched squeal to a tiny scrap of a woman, cute as a button, but in no way should be able to have such a big voice. She’s standing in front of a swinging door in an apron that reads ‘Don’t Fuck With The Cook’ with a huge smile on her face. “Raven, Angel, the guys are home.”
Behind her, the doors swing open again and a tall beautiful woman with long sandy blonde hair and tattoos running along the length of her arms comes flying out. Tank separates from the group and meets her half way as she jumps into his arms. Hegrips her ass and holds her tight. I divert my eyes because their reunion is none of my business.
My eyes dart up towards the clanging sound suddenly echoing through the room as another woman comes barreling down a set of metal stairs extending from a crossbridge that hangs above the space we’re in. Her short, messy curls bounce with each hurried step. Even from across the room her eyes hold my focus. I stare at familiar flecks of green swirling amidst a sea of soft brown. The woman freezes in her tracks less than a foot from Chainz and Lilly, tears drown the natural shimmer in her eyes and run down her pale face. I see what Chainz saw. Her eyes, the slight tip of her nose, the high bone structure of her cheeks, the deep curve of her upper lip. My heart stops beating. I lunge toward my daughter but Jase’s grip around my waist tightens, ripping my un-beating heart from my chest.
“Paige?” The woman’s voice trembles, each syllable spoken carrying the weight of one broken heart being pieced back together and another shattering.

My arms tighten around Rayne’s waist as she goes limp in my arms, fully aware of the consequences if either of us intervene. I can feel her heart breaking when Chainz hands the child in his arms off to Raven. Raven embraces Paige in a deep hug and places a kiss on her forehead. Everyone watches in intense silence as Raven is reunited with her little girl.
“Did you know?” Rayne’s accusation is a sharp knife to my heart.
“I had a hunch.” Shifting my hold on her, I spin her around and gently cup her face in my palm.
Rayne closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, “I don’t understand.”
"Raven's daughter has been missing for a long time. Before she came to us, she was married to a monster who thrived on terrorizing her in every way possible. She escaped, but her freedom came at a cost. Her ex had debts with dangerous people and they took their payment by snatching her daughter. In a violent ambush that nearly cost her life, Raven was run off the road and left for dead. When she awoke in the hospital, her ex informed her of her daughter's supposed death. But as fragments of that night started to resurface in Raven’s memory after arriving here, we couldn't shake the feeling that her little girl might still be alive. Chainz has searched tirelessly for any sign of her since then and seeing how you reacted to the missing child poster he put up in your bar, confirmed our suspicions. I never meant to hurt you but you know this is right."
