“That’s it,” he growls. “Soak my dick, princess.”

“Ah!” I sob when he grabs my hips and plows into me.

There’s nothing to hold onto as I bounce below his brutal thrusts and with each pump, his fingers grip my hips tighter.

Although I’m a jellied mass of satiation, I want to see him lose control. I need to know that this isn’t one-sided, and I arch up.

When my core meets his pelvis, he sinks deep with a groan before his lips pull back in a brutal snarl. The moment takes my breath away as he lays over top of me and I feel the thump of his heart against mine.

It’s quiet after, only his panting breaths filling the silence as my eyes flutter and sleep claims me.

When I woke, Maddox was gone. I waited an hour for him to return before texting Draven.

Although the last thing I wanted to do after everything that happened not only with Joey, but Maddox, was go to work, I couldn’t afford to lose my job.

I need the money now more than ever, but I can’t say my heart was in it.

Nope, I was still back in that room with Maddox where he showed me what true intimacy felt like.

We shared something that I’ve never experienced before but as soon as I was alone, the doubts started to creep in.

Maddox has had more than just me as a sexual partner, which makes the shine I feel, dull in reality.

I’ve always had a lot of nervous energy. I think it’s why I gravitated toward sports but the only thing I was good at was cheer.

Now I’m practically crawling out of my skin when I walk through the door of the trailer after my shift and eye Joey sitting on the couch clutching a beer.

Why let me stay if I’m not his damn kid?

I won’t know unless I ask and with a silent prayer to the powers that be, I say, “Who are you? Why do you have bikers asking about your ass?”

Rearing back, his eyes go wide, and I shake my head when he says, “You brought nothin’ but trouble you little bitch.”

“Just tell me the damn truth,” I mutter, rubbing my head, where a dull ache has formed

“Don’t know the truth. Helen brought you around when you was a snot-nosed kid. Said you were mine. I let her.”

Uh…what? That doesn’t make a damn bit of sense and waving my hand, I say, “Let me get this straight. Mom thought you were my kid, and you didn’t sayno?”

“Sorta,” he mumbles, and I slam my hand against the wall.

“It’s a simple yes or no question!”

When he shrugs, I grab the first thing within reach which happens to be an empty beer can before lobbing it at his head to which he grunts but doesn’t even flinch as he says, “All’s I know is you better stay the fuck away from theSaints.”

He sneers the word, and I pause, my heart jumping into my throat.

“W-Why?” I ask, shuddering when his lips stretch into a horrible grin.

“Cuz, we hunted down one of their bitches and took her out. You think that little fucker would put his dick in you if he knew that?”

My chest burns as I grab my bag from the floor and stalk past him, hissing, “You’re an animal.”

“So’s your little dick,” he sneers.

I’m out the door and stalking across the gravel when he yells, “You hear me? You been fucking an animal, bitch.”
