Everyone laughs at them, at least it makes them stop glaring at me. We all start clearing the dinner dishes.

“I need to get these little ones down, then I need to try this popcorn.” Giovanna smiles.

“But Mama, I wants popcorn.” Rowan frowns at her.

“Mama said it’s bedtime, Rowan,” Declan says to him.

“No fair,” Rowan mumbles as he follows his mom to bed.

“Aww. Now I feel bad,” Lukas says quietly to everyone.

“Nah, Rowan knows bedtime is bedtime. He’s just pushing it because we’re not at home,” Declan says to him.

“Isn’t that his job.” Rhett laughs. “Our kids push boundaries all the time. Except I’m weak and give in.”

“I don’t know how it’ll be when Rowan’s older. I think because he’s so little, he listens more. And well, if he throws a tantrum, I just pick him up and take him to his room.” Declan laughs.

“Yeah, Kaito and Miyuki are six. So sometimes we need to find a compromise. It’s not always easy, but somehow we figure it out.”

“It’s always a struggle.” Giovanna laughs as she joins us again.

We spend the rest of the night hanging out and talking. I love how our families have come together in such a short time. When Leighton told me about meeting Valentino and how she felt about him? I told her she was crazy and needed to be more careful. But now I get it, and I’ve had to apologize to her. I was wrong, and Valentino is part of the reason I have my Felicity now.

Felicity

Our Lake Renegade family has been here for a little over a week. Which means that I only have four more days with my Levi. I love having him here with me and I’m going to miss him so much. Going to bed and waking up with him are my favorite parts of the day. My brothers are still glaring at Levi when they think no one’s watching…they’re being such babies about it.

Every day, when I’m at the store, Armando is too. I’ve gotten used to him being with me all the time. Usually Levi’s with us, but today he’s spending the day with Paxton doing a side job. I hope my brother is being nice to him. Or else I’m going to end up punching him.

“I’m going to run to the bathroom,” I say to Armando. He gets up and comes with me.

“You guys need to put cameras back here. That way if anything happens, you have it on tape. I’ll call Sebastiano and talk to him about setting something up.”

“Thank you.” I chuckle as I go into the bathroom.

There’s four stalls in the women’s bathroom. I grab one of the empty ones. I get a weird feeling as I come out and wash my hands.

“Let’s try this again.”

I look up into the mirror and see the attendant from the plane come out of one of the other stalls.

“Don’t scream. Or you’ll force me to do something I don’t want to do. Just cooperate and don’t make a scene.”

I’m debating if I should scream or not. The only thing stopping me is that to get out of the bathroom, we have to go past Armando. So I’m not sure what he thinks is going to happenhere. It’s not like Armando’s going to just let him take me. I decide to cooperate, because I know Armando is there to help me.

The bathrooms are in the back, so it’s not in a place where every one can see who goes in and out. And as we step out of the bathroom, I see the pilot standing over Armando. Now I’m starting to panic.

“We need to get out the back doors. There’s no one there. This asshole took more than I thought to get him to go down,” the pilot says as he kicks Armando.

“Stop that,” I say to him.

The pilot laughs and kicks Armando again. Armando doesn’t react at all and I kneel down to make sure he’s breathing.

“Get the fuck up. We gotta go.” The pilot yanks me up and pushes me out the back door.

I wish Paxton was here today. He would be back here if he was.

“Why are you doing this? I don’t even know you,” I say to the two of them.
