Iwas getting tired of falling.
We hit the ground from about five feet in the air. I landed first, and then Kevin plopped right on top of me. I didn’t really mind.
“We really have to stop getting ourselves in this position,” I growled and stroked the red hair from his pretty face.
“I think we’re right where I want to be,” he answered flirtily.
“There are things that you don’t…”
“Please stop talking.” He pressed his lips onto mine in a quick peck and then sprang up from me, holding the stones for me to see. I adjusted the woody I had started to sprout. This kid was killing me.
“You got them!” I stood up and looked around. We were in a forest filled with fireflies. Large trees covered the sky and stars. “Before you ask, I have no idea where we are.”
“I guess we’re where we’re supposed to be, huh? Just go with it. It makes it much easier to deal with,” he laughed happily. “They’re not glowing anymore, but I guess they will when they need to.”
“Seeking stones. I suppose we have to have something to seek. Trust me, this is a quest, and the next challenge will probably find us if we don’t find it first.”
“Have you done this before?”
“No. But I’ve watched them from time to time. They usually end with death.” I sighed.
“Well, that’s cheerful. I guess we’ll die together then?” He grinned stupidly.
“Probably,” I laughed.
“Can we get back to what we were doing before we were rudely interrupted?”
“He might find us again.”
“It took him over twenty-four hours last time. I think we’re ok.”
“You do, huh?”
“I do. Now, if you don’t take your shirt off, I might have to stab you with that old ass sword you’ve been carrying.”
“What happened to you in that cave?” I grinned.
“I found myself. I know what it is that I want.” He acted lighter than before. Something inside that cave had ignited a new spark in him.
“Me?” I choked as I asked. No one had ever wanted me. I was horrible. I was a demon who wore the skin of others to live.
“If you take your shirt off, I am sure you’ll realize exactly what I mean.” He slowly took his shirt off and threw it to the ground.
“I had no idea you could ever come on this strong.”
“Neither did I. But I now know what it is I want? Do you think it’s insane that I love you, Heath?”
“I have never known love. But I feel something so strong for you, like the pull of the ocean tides. The moment I first saw you, I knew I had to protect you. I wanted you.”
“Lust or love. We’ll have to see where it goes, I guess. You want to?”
“See where it goes? Yes. I don’t think I could leave you if I tried.”
“How about this?” He undid his pants and let them drop to the ground. His red pubes were trimmed, and his cock stood out at attention.
