"Are you okay? Do you know him?" she asks, worriedly.

"I know him," my voice wiggles so I don't elaborate, just nodding. Why would he ever act like this? What is going on?

"We can leave Azalea, I'm not feeling this party. It's too wild honestly," she notices my upset mood.

"Are you sure you want to leave?" I ask her. I'd hate to ruin her night just because I'm dealing with my own crap.

"Yeah, we can do something else. This dress is uncomfortable too. Bekah kinda made me wear it," she shrugs.

I silently thank God that she hasn't left me. I don't know what I would do if she were to leave me alone. I'd probably die, just like Grey said.

We stand over by a wall while Abby texts Bekah about wanting to leave.

"Where'd Grey go tonight? He said somewhere three hours away," Abby questions while waiting for Bekah to text back.

"I'm not sure," I answer honestly. He could be anywhere in any direction. All I know is I miss my crackeaded Sugar.

And we need to talk.

What was Aaron talking about? I need to know.

I'm really missing Grey's hugs right now.

"She's staying here and catching a ride from someone else," Abby speaks up over the music, her eyes set unhappily. I sneak a small peak at her screen and just barely see the message sent by Bekah.

'You and miss priss can go ahead. I'm catching a ride from someone else.'it reads. I avert my eyes from the screen and push away the little pang that connects with my heart.

Do I really come off as prissy? I don't mean to.

Having left the party not long after arriving at it, we drive to the nearest movie theater. Obviously after stopping by a Dollar Tree to get candy to sneak into the theater.

Following the ending of the movie, we make the hour-long trip back to our small town. Abby drops me off at home and I thank her for inviting me out.

I unlock the door, pushing it open and Bear attacks me with love. His butt wiggles excitedly as his tail wags quickly.

I fall down onto the couch and pull the blanket off the top down onto me. Bear jumps up and lays at my head, occasionally licking and sniffing the top of my head.

I take to watching Dumb and Dumber on the tv and I drift off to the view of Harry and Lloyd's snot freezing below their noses.

"Azalea," I wake to Grey's voice.

"Wake your ass up and kiss me," he squeezes my leg and I sit up, a smile on my face. I open my arms up to him and he lowers himself down to me.

"You didn't text me and tell me you were coming home," he grumbles, kissing the side of my neck.

"I'm sorry," I sit up further and the blanket falls off me. His eyes fall on my dress that I'mstillwearing.

"Did you leave it on just because I told you I was going to take it off you?" he mumbles against the skin of my neck, his nose tickling me.

"Well," I trail off, "the bedroom is so far and I've had a long, scarring night so I decided it's a win-win."

That sounded more hornish than I intended.

"You want an apple? I want one," I stand up, leaving him behind me.

"We have apples?" he questions. He literally goes grocery shopping with me every week. I can't send him by himself because he'll only come back with every type of meat they have in the store.
