But I'm sure she was just busy with her new job and all.

"I know you love her Lilah. But she loves you nowhere near as much as you love her," he grips my face, tilting it up so I can see how serious he is.

"But-" he shuts me up by placing a gentle kiss on my lips. He sits me up, making sure I'm paying close attention to him.

"Youhave been the only one to call. Not once has she called you. You don't deserve to be treated like that, okay?"

"Distance yourself babe, or you're going to get hurt. I don't want to see you upset," he tucks my hair behind my ear.

"I just want one parent," I tell him truthfully. One normal parent. Have mine ever been normal or is it just me?

"C'mere Bear," Grey pats the bed beside me and Bear follows his direction. Grey points to my cheek.

"Kisses," he tells him and Bear's big tongue licks the side of my face.

Grey stretches out his legs and pats his thigh. His juicy thigh. His huge foot lands on my computer sending it nearly off the bed. I shoot forward grabbing it. Closing the lid, I catch sight of the words on the screen.

'Your essay has been submitted!'

Oh Lord Jesus help me.

"I'm gonna start flipping my crap in three seconds," I tell Grey honestly.

The essay was not even half done.

"Oh shit," he winces, "can you unsubmit?"

"The professor has to return it, I can't unsubmit," I faceplant into my pillow. I can't even email the man on Saturdays.

I pull the covers completely over me and curl into a ball thinking of terrible possibilities. What if my professor gets mad at me and says he's not returning it? What if when I email him tomorrow he doesn't answer anyways? What if he starts hating me?

"Your freaking monster-feet," I grumble aloud.

"I was just tryin' to love on you," he says softly and my heart beats quicker.

"I know," I mumble into the bed. Suddenly, we can hear the front door burst open.

"You didn't lock it," Grey groans. Footsteps come running into our room.

"Grey, step away from her," Oaklee's voice says.

"Jessica, do you have clothes on?" Theo's voice asks me. He sounds a little sad. He's too sweet.

"She does-"

"Shut up you cheating asshole!" Lincoln shouts. Grey doesn't respond and I'm quite surprised.

The covers are ripped off of me and the guys stare back at me.

"Who's Jessica?" I question innocently.

"Where is she hiding?!" Oaklee rushes to our closet pulling the door open and walking inside.

"Come here," Theo pulls me off the bed.

I bite my lip to keep from laughing. It's really terrible we're doing this to them. But it's funny they kind of believe it. Grey wouldn't cheat on me.

'Cause if he did, he'd be a dead man and I'd makesureof it.
