The two of them laugh. Even I know how ridiculous I sound. The thought of either of them touching me at this very second makes me want to crawl out of my skin. Holding the treasures in my hand, I sidestep out of the room, keeping my eye on the two of them like a scared feral cat. They give me a wide berth.

Even when I’m being a little out of control, they’re so good to me.

“Good boys.”

Sawyer starts purring. Liam grins. They’re so cute. Honey and vanilla explodes around us. They move toward me. “Nope, absolutely not!” I race toward the twins’ room, practically falling inside as I push the door open.

“Whoa,” Wilder says, hopping off the bed. “Liv, what?—”

I point at him. “Shhhh.”

He mimes zipping his lips. Hayes watches me with that quiet intensity, and my heart skips when our gazes collide.

“Hey, vixen.” His voice is extra grumbly, chased by what sounds like a touch of a growl.

“Hi,” I squeak, snatching one of his shirts and one of Wilder’s. “Okay, bye.” Turning, I start to retreat to my nest, but Sawyer and Liam are blocking the way. My pack’s scent surrounds me, and every muscle in my body clenches. “I’m not ready yet,” I whisper, glancing between them.

That confession has them easing away, giving me space I desperately need as I endure the last hours of preheat. I race to my nest, crawling onto the bed and cradling their shirts to my body, breathing in long and deep as contentment settles in my chest. Now it’s perfect.

Rolling onto my side, I grab the half-eaten candy bar—chewy caramel and crunchy peanuts drenched in chocolate—and take a bite that borders on aggressive. My own chest purrs, and I eye the wrinkled wrappers of the fallen candy bars that came before this one. So much sugar, but my hands tremor, as if I’ve been underfed. I take the next bite, eyes growing heavy as I chew.

I’ve been going nonstop for days. Between work, coming home and nesting, and today? It’s been intense. I finally realized I needed to ask for time off. While I hate being away from work during such an exciting time, I’ll only be a distraction.

A yawn cracks my jaw. Plus, I’m really sleepy. I don’t fight the dreams. This might be my last restful sleep for a few days. So, candy in hand, I fall asleep.

A whine fills the air. Soft at first, as my body heats, skin too hot to touch, and then it grows louder. Filled with desperation and pain. I’m so empty. Clutching my middle, I curl in on myself, panting. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts.

Something bangs. Four distinct scents I’d recognize even from the grave flood through the room.

“Please,” I beg, reaching for them with my eyes pinched shut. “Please.”

The bed shifts. Voices float around me, but I can’t make out the words over the blood roaring through my ears. I’m burning up.

A firm hand falls on my cheek, and a thumb brushes over my skin, marking me with a warm, sweet caramel scent. “Wilder,” I whine. “Please.”

More hands touch my body. One slips up my leg, palm dragging over my skin. Everywhere they touch hurts a little less. Every caress gives me relief.

“More,” I rasp, lifting my hips as those fingers on my thighs slide over slick and flesh, inching toward where I need sweet release most. “More,” I say, practically sobbing.

Lips meet mine, the taste sweet as honey, and two mouths land on my breasts, while the other settles between my legs. One finger. Two. Pressure on my clit. A third.

“More, more, more,” I whine around the kiss, arching into their touch and thrusting my hips up.

Hot and probing, a tongue flattens and sweeps up my slit before curling around those nerves. It’s good but not nearly enough. I want, noneed, a knot. I’m a mess of slick and sweat, hot and horny. Breaking the kiss, I pant, whining as those digits pump in and out.

“Please,” I beg all of them.

A deep rumble sounds, and the fingersslide out of me, quickly replaced by a cock, and finally, fucking finally, I can peel my eyes open. Sawyer and Liam are on my breasts. Hayes is between my legs, pupils fully dilated, his chest rumbling in a deep, low warning growl. Palms splayed on my thighs, he pushes them open, spreading me so every inch of bare skin is on display.

I swear his eyes are nearly black. My breath catches in my throat. He’ll give me what I need.

“Liv, he’s going into a rut,” Wilder murmurs. “Tell us now if you want him to?—”

“Knot,” I cry out, tilting my hips. “Hayes, please.”

Something inside of him, the careful control he’s wrapped around himself, snaps and he bares his teeth as he drives into me so hard, air is shocked out of my lungs. His hips snap back and pump forward so hard our skinslaps.

“Yessssssssss,” I moan. “Harder.”
