DANGEROUSLY CLOSE
I lookup at the hottest, sexiest sight in my life. Watching Grace come, pulling my hair, nearly made me blow my load in my swim trunks without even touching my cock. Apparently she just has that effect on me. I’ve had crowds of thousands of people scream my name before, but the sound of her calling my name out into the night is something that’s going to play on repeat in my mind for the rest of my days.
She takes her time coming down from her high, still sitting on top of me but loosening her grip on my hair and resting her palms on her thighs. Her chest still rises and falls heavily with each breath, a pink flush spread across her tits. Her dazzling emerald eyes finally drop to mine, lazy and drunk from her orgasm. I would give anything to make her look that sated over and over. She grins at me and ruffles my hair. “That was fun.”
A laugh erupts from my chest, shaking her on top of me. “You were right.”
She cocks her head and smirks down at me. “I’m normally right, but humor me. What was it this time?”
I swipe the tip of my tongue back across her still swollen clit and that fucking piercing, making her thighs squeeze my headagain. I didn’t know it was there and I’m already fucking obsessed with it. I want to taste it on my tongue every day now. “Having you ride my face was more fun.”
She grins, and then climbs off me, sitting on the edge of the hot tub. I watch as she grabs her boy shorts, slowly sliding them up her long legs and shimmying them back on. Reaching over, I wrap my arm around her waist, my fingers again finding the hemline of those shorts, ghosting her thighs. “Get back in here. I seem to remember we wanted to talk?”
She laughs before lowering herself down into the water, sitting right against me. I drape my arm over her shoulders, pulling her tighter against me. An impossibly cute whimper escapes her lips when she rests her head on my shoulder. “Talking is good, but this is nice too.”
I plant a kiss on top of her damp head, twirling a strand of purple and orange streaked hair in my fingers. I have met lots of people in my life, but no one has ever captivated me like the woman in my arms, endlessly full of life and freewill. I know one thing, that I never want to let go.
She plants a kiss to my neck, sending chills down my spine again. “I like you.”
I chuckle, looking down at her — still topless and sexy as hell — tucked into me. She’s radiating confidence, but somehow equally peaceful. “I like you too. I’m just,” I hesitate, searching for the right words, something I’ve never had a problem with before her, “I don’t know if I’m good at dating or whatever it is you want.”
She lifts her chin, resting it on my shoulder looking at me curiously. “You don’t know if you’re good at relationships? Well, if it helps, you’re clearly good at the intimacy part because the way you made me come—” she trails off, giving me a knowing, flirty look.
“Well, that’s an ego boost, but that’s not what Imeant,” I say, snorting a laugh. I reach out with my other hand, tilting her chin up so we’re eye to eye. “I mean I don’t know because I’ve never been in a real relationship, Grace. Or at least one worth thinking about. I put my career ahead of everything else for years, decades even. I don’t want to let you down because you’re special. I just want to give you what you want, whether that’s just more orgasms or being with me or both.”
I lean in, kissing her soft lips, feeling them part at my touch. Pressing my forehead to hers, I feel her breath on my cheek and I inhale her lavender scent I’ve become addicted to.
“Preferably both though,” I rasp.
She laughs and pulls back, eyeing me for a moment. I watch her gaze shamelessly roaming over my body.
“Let’s keep this simple,” she says, her lips curling into a wide, amused smile. I take her in, loving how her eyes sparkle in the evening light, reflecting the steamy water, and how her freckled cheeks are still flushed from coming on my face. She is always so wild, practically glowing. “You kept saying it’s not that simple before. I told you, I don’t care about all of those excuses you could list about why this is a bad idea and I meant it. None of that matters to me. What does matter is that you and I clearly enjoy whatever this is between us. Because at the end of the day, that’s what this is about — you and me. So I’ll make it easy for you. Just be the decisive man I think you are, because I’m not looking for a boy.”
“You think I’m decisive? Because I’ve been anything but that when it comes to you,” I reply, still amazed at her confidence and outlook on life.
She leans into me, resting her head on my shoulder again and placing one of her hands on my chest, over my pounding heart. Her fingers curl into my chest hair, making my pulse quicken again.
“Some people might think you’re impulsive, but I think you know what you want. We both seem to have a knack for going with the flow and doing what feels good. So I say let’s stick with that. Stop ignoring that we both want this, whateverthisends up looking like, and just see what happens. Let the universe and our hearts guide us.”
I nod, watching her twirl some of my chest hair in her fingers. “So what, is this a situationship?”
She laughs softly. “I don’t care what we call it. I’m not seeing anyone else and don’t plan on it, only you.”
I hum to myself, rubbing the back of her shoulder, my fingers tracing the scar underneath her bright tattoos.
“Wait,” she looks up at me, “you know what a situationship is? Aren’t you too old to get that reference?”
I roll my eyes and playfully glare at her. “I’m forty-two and have social media. I know what a situationship is. Seriously, you’re going to have to come up with some better old man jokes. And also, that’s fine with me.”
“What’s fine with you?” she says, still looking up at me.
“Just seeing where this goes, and not seeing anyone else.” I feel the corners of my mouth lift, and I give in, letting the smile take over. I can think of nothing I want more than getting to be in her orbit and knowing she wants me there.
She lifts her chin off my shoulder, planting a quick kiss on my lips. “Good.” To my pleasant surprise, she climbs into my lap, facing away from me to enjoy the view of the night sky over the mountains. She settles back against me and I wrap my arms around her waist, holding her exactly where I want her.
We sit there for a moment in perfect, peaceful silence, the only sounds coming from the rippling water and the gentle breeze rustling the treetops.
