“Sir,” Shana said behind him.
He relaxed.“Good.Press your ear to the door if you have to.”
“I’ll interrupt as soon as I hear it getting hostile or Miss Camila being bullied.”
“Thank you.”
“Don’t thank me.I want every chance I can have to make their lives hard while they’re here,” Shana said.
Drake grinned.“I want that, too.I’ll be down at D if you need me.”
Shana nodded.“She’ll be taken care of.”
Drake turned and made his way out of the house, but his stomach tightened with every step he took away from Camila.He needed those women gone as soon as possible.That was the only way he’d be able to relax.
Chapter Three
Camila was talkingto Kayden, the ranch manager, about a horse when her sisters drove up.
Oh, God.They were the last people she ever wanted to see again.Seeing them in person made her feel small and broken, even though she had known they were coming.
They got out of the car and looked around with wide eyes before walking up to her.
Penelope looked Kayden up and down and then grimaced.“So, is this the sucker that married you?”
Kayden stiffened and turned back to her.“If there is nothing else, Miss Camila, I’ll get back to work.”
“No, that’s all, Kayden.Thank you for the update.”She watched him walk away, then took a breath before she turned to her sisters.“How was the flight?”
Aubrey nodded.“Good.So, if that’s not your husband, where is the idiot who married our younger sister?”
Before she could say anything, the front door opened, and Drake walked out straight to her.He wrapped his arm around her like he always did, but this time it was a bit tighter.
Camila almost smiled at the shock and wonder on her sisters’ faces.She knew she’d get some reaction when they saw him because he was 6 feet 4 inches tall, very muscular, with dark hair and tanned skin.His eyes were what caught her attention first when they met, as they were light blue.But the looks on their faces told her they didn’t expect to meet a man who could easily be on the cover of a GQ Magazine.
Camila introduced them, and she was glad that Drake hadn’t tried to shake their hands.They talked for a bit before Drake led them inside.He had one of the maids take them to their room, and she was glad to have a few minutes' space between them.She was shocked when Drake pulled her into a room and fucked her mindless in the quickest time they’d ever had.
