I take her hand as we head for the door.“Well, I think you should move in with me and we should spend all our time together.”
“You know we both have jobs, right?”
I sigh.“Fine, all ourfreetime together then.”
“And you don’t think all of this is too soon?”
“Pfft.”I snort, opening the door for her and following her to her office.
“I’ll take that as a no.”
“It’s not too soon. We’re in love, you think I’m awesome, and you’re my Princess Angel Baby.”
She sighs.“You’ve got to stop calling me that.”
I shake my head.“Never.”
“You’re crazy.”
“And you love me and my crazy.”
She just smiles.
I take a seat across from her as she fires up her laptop and starts going through her emails.
“Wait. What?”Olivia whispers, leaning closer to the screen.
“What?”
“We got a ton of donations last night.”
“That’s good.”
“Likea lot.”
“I’m not seeing the problem here.”I swipe a caramel from her desk and pop it in my mouth.
“Not a problem. But… this one donation, the biggest… is from someone named Cameron.”
“Hmm,” I say noncommittally.
“You wouldn’t know anything about that, huh?”
I give her my most innocent look.“Nope.”
“Liar.”
I shrug.“You’re mad that I donated money to a good cause?”
She gnaws on her bottom lip.“No, it’s just… You didn’t have to do that.”
“I know.I wanted to.”
“Thanks,” she says softly.
I nod.“I also want to help you plan the next fundraiser. And help you move in with me.”
My phone buzzes, and I look to see a text from Logan reminding me that practice starts in twenty.“Shit, I’ve got to go.I’ll see you later, though?I’ll bring boxes.”
