Jasper and I finally finished decorating the tree. A task so simple but meaningful at the same time. We cooked dinner together, which is a nightly thing now.Who knew living with another person could be this fun?
When Jasper asked me if we could try for a baby, my first reaction was worry. I wanted to say no purely from fear of possibly experiencing what happened before. But nothing with Jasper has ever been thought out. Every decision I’ve made with him has been made from raw emotion, and this time is no different. I wholeheartedly agreed.
While Jasper finishes the dishes, I’m heading upstairs to shower. I just arrived back home this morning from a three-day trip, and I am craving my own shower—well, his.I love living in his house and his space, and I’d be willing to leave my things in storage forever if he’d let me. I have no attachment to material items except for the piece of precious jewelry comfortably placed back on my finger.
His mother’s ring, and I couldn’t be more grateful for it.
Slipping off my jeans, I’m interrupted by a buzz from my phone on the dresser.
Helen: Hey, honey, I can’t wait to see you and Jasper at the holiday party tomorrow night.
Since moving back, Helen and I have spent a lot of time together. I apologized for being away so long, and in true Helen fashion, she was comforting and reminded me she’ll always be here.
Me: Me too. I’m looking forward to wearing the dress we picked out last weekend.
Helen: Your first official function is as a mayor’s wife.
I smile, warming at the thought.
Me: I know. I hope I do alright. The guys have been giving me a hard time about it.
Helen: Don’t let them get to you. I’ll be there to keep them in line.
Me: Thanks, Helen.
Helen: Tell Jasper I said See you tomorrow.
Me: See you tomorrow!
I lay my phone back on the dresser, then finish undressingand get into the shower.
Letting the warm drops cover my body, I lean my head back and breathe out a heavy sigh. It’s been six months since Jasper and I got back together, and there hasn’t been one second out of this entire time I have not thought about pinching myself. I’m happy and extremely grateful. I miss the girls, but luckily, I was able to stay with the same airline, so I still see them often. Since Piper and I live out of state, the four of us get together virtually for a weekly happy hour.
Like they did before, Easton, Riley, and Bodhi have accepted me into their group once again.
A light creak of the door tells me Jasper is on his way in. Butterflies flutter in my stomach.
I turn my head around to see him standing on the other side of the glass without any clothes on. “Can I join you?”
“Of course,” I say. “I’ve been waiting for you.”
Sliding the door open, he steps in and immediately hoists me up with two hands. A rumble of laughter vibrates both our chests.
“I missed you so fucking much,” he growls into the sensitive skin on my neck.
With my legs wrapped tightly around his waist, I wriggle my hips, trying to find his cock. “I missed you.”
Jasper’s lips crash into mine, his hard length rubbing against my core. Desperate for him to slip inside, my pussy throbs. Water droplets fall onto my face, creating wetness not only from our kiss but from the arousal between my legs.
With one arm bracing my leg, he reaches between us to stroke himself. Clenching my muscles tightly, I keep myself upright asthe inside of my thighs grow slick.
“I need to feel you, Jasper,” I beg, running my tongue along the seam of his lips.
“So needy, aren’t you?” he says right before slamming himself into me.
“Oh.” A guttural groan forced from the back of my throat the moment I’m filled by him. His arm returning to my other leg, he clutches my ass and uses my body to get himself off. Back and forth with a force that takes my breath away. Heavy panting fills the air.
