I nod, grateful that my brothers and Toto are safe. "Thank you."

"Dottie, I will do anything to protect you and those you love."

I look at Maddox properly for the first time since I crash-landed in the cabin. His dark brown hair is tousled and sexy, and the sudden need to run my hands through it is overwhelming. His eyes are trained on me, heavy with concern, but even in a moment of crisis, he can't keep his hands off my curves. His hard cock presses against my side, and I know this man will never hurt me. "I love you, Maddox." I glance up at him shyly. Even though I said the same words last night, this is the first time I've said them outside of the throes of passion.

Maddox's smile lights up his entire face. I return his grin despite the trauma of this evening. He sits up, pulling me into his lap, and I snuggle against his chest.

"You are my reason for breathing, love." He kisses my temple. "If anything had happened to you tonight..." He trails off, closing his eyes in anguish.

I grip his chin, forcing him to look at me again. "It didn't."

Maddox stares down at me for a moment, a mixture of concern and love swirling in his eyes before he captures my mouth with his. Our tongues tangle, and his cock thickens against my ass.

He breaks our kiss, his heated gaze almost incinerating me. "I love you."

Grinning, I reach between our bodies to grip his hard shaft through his pants. I wet my lips, ready to try something I've only ever read about, but the next words out of his mouth stop me in my tracks.

"Marry me, Dottie."

Epilogue: Maddox

Ten Years Later

"I'm melting! I'm melting!"

I grin as our five-year-old son Marcus sprays water at my mother, who pretends to wither away on the ground. She doesn't care that her designer clothes are soaked and covered in grass. Her grandchildren are spoiled rotten when we visit, and she wouldn't have it any other way.

"Take that, evil snowman!" Marcus yells, flicking his wand carefully as he practices his water spells.

"Well done, Marcus. Now, lift up and sayfiniscio," Gigi instructs.

My son does as she says, and the water turns off.

"Aw." Marcus' little voice is full of disappointment.

Gigi and my mother share a smile as he gets ready to try again.

"Marcus," I call to my son. "Go find your sister, please. Mama and I are headed out in a minute."

His little blond head bobs along as he races past me and into his grandmother's large house, yelling for his older sister. "Eloise!"

The mischievous grin on his face has me calling after him. "No water spells or you won't get to practice for a week," I warn.

He furrows his brow in frustration but runs off to find his sister.

Gigi loops her arm through my mom’s as she strolls up to the large verandah. "You've got your hands full with that one, Maddox."

"Yes, we do," my wife says from behind me.

I turn to find her blotting at a large wet stain on her blouse. She grimaces, shaking her head at the antics of our youngest, but all I can do is stare at my gorgeous wife. Black leggings hug her shapely legs, and she’s wearing the silver stilettos that were my first gift to her. Her sheer blouse is tasteful and sexy, making me want to plant my face between her perfect tits and take a nap in heaven.

"Sorry, Mama." Marcus' voice sounds from somewhere in the house.

Gigi stifles a smile, knowing our little prankster is probably not sorry at all.

I shake my head, trying to imagine what it must be like being a non-magical mother to a growing wizard and a witch. I've decided Dottie is the most powerful person in our family. Our kids adore and admire her, even without an ounce of magic available for discipline. And I worship the ground she walks on.
