She nodded. “I am. I didn’t think I’d enjoy it this much, but Natalie and Omar have definitely made tonight fun for everyone.”

“They have.”

“I think they’re getting ready to escape.”

“Yeah?”

Casey nodded to where Natalie and Omar were gathering their things.

“They are. That’s sneaky.”

“It’s smart. It’ll take them an hour to get out of here if they don’t just leave.”

“They have important things to get to.”

She raised her eyebrows at me. “Important things?”

“The rest of their lives.”

“You’re a romantic, aren’t you?”

I nodded and slid my hand over her neck. “I am. I create bouquets and provide flowers for weddings and am surrounded by it all the time. I love what I do, but I’m definitely a romantic.”

“I find that very sexy.”

“Oh, you do?”

“Yes, I do.”

“As sexy as this suit?” I asked, kissing my way across her jaw.

She hummed. “That’s a tough choice. Can they tie?”

“Of course. As long as you’re still talking about me.”

She laughed and tilted her head to the side. “I’m definitely talking about you. And I’m about ready to follow Natalie and Omar out the door.”

“I’m ready when you are.”

“There are a few things you said we have to do tonight.”

“So many things I can’t wait to do to you.”

“I think it’s time for us to go.”

“I’m right behind you.”

She laughed and led me to our table. She picked up her purse, then led the way to my truck.

I held her hand on the drive back to my place. She grabbed her bag from the back when I parked, and we made our way inside.

“This dress has been driving me crazy all night,” I told her as I followed her up the stairs to my apartment.

“I could tell. You haven’t stopped touching me. It’s had me wet all day.”

I groaned. “I think I need proof of that.”

“Maybe you should let us inside first.”
