Jay was biding his time until he could find out what the marriage was all about. He knew it was an arrangement, but he couldn’t figure out how it benefited both families. They both came from old money. The Buchanan family was more of the ‘All American’ type, showcasing athletes and the occasional politician. They kept their records clean, paid off when needed. Daisy’s family didn’t dabble in politics, at least, not from the surface.

Daisy’s family was simply an old industrial family, a history of banking, mostly known for their money and influence. He could see how that would benefit the Buchanan family, but what was in it for Daisy’s? That’s what he was waiting to find out.

He wiped the blood from his hands and nodded to the others to finish the man with the bag over his head. He’d gotten the only answer Wolfsheim wanted, a name. He left the discreet old building behind him and climbed into the back seat of his car.

His phone buzzed in his pocket. He took it out and opened it to see a picture of Daisy with a smirk on her face. Her face was freshly washed and her long blonde hair piled at the top of her head. As he opened the picture up larger, he could see her ass in the mirror behind her.

Daisy: You can barely see the bite marks you left. It makes me a little sad.

Jay: Maybe I should bite harder next time?

Daisy: Or bite me every day in that same spot.

Jay: I’ve got a better idea. What are you doing this afternoon?

Daisy: Getting out of this house again. He’s in the city for the night. So I’m all yours.

Jay: Perfect. Pack a bag. Tell Jordan to do the same, she can stay with Nick if she prefers. We’re all going out tonight.

Daisy: Really? Scandalous!

Jay: Be at my place in two hours.

Daisy: And if I refuse?

Jay: You’re going to like this surprise.

Daisy: I do like surprises, when they’re from you.

Jay: I know.

He sentout another text to a friend that did tattoos. It was the only person who did them who he trusted to be discreet about it. Jay was going to give his girl what she wanted, a permanent mark. It would be something for only the two of them to enjoy. She would know it was there, and he could see it whenever he wanted.

“Stop at the leather shop.” He informed his driver as he pocketed his phone.

The driver nodded and turned to head in the direction of the shop instead of the house. Jay didn’t use his driver all the time. Only when on some business.

His driver, Adam, had been with him for two years now and was the best at being discreet. He also paid him good money to continue to do so.

As they pulled up to the leather shop, he informed his driver he’d be there for a bit. In other words, take a break and get coffee across the street. Jay didn’t stop in the leather shop often, he didn’t have a reason to. The owners were a delightful lesbian couple that happened to be members of Club Oxy. It also meant that he might see other members from the club if he was in there, and he preferred to stay more discreet about things.

The bell dinged on the door, and he quickly glanced around to see the place empty. One of the owners stepped out from behind the counter.

“Are you a mirage? I know I don’t see Jay Gatsby in our shop.” She tucked a piece of her red hair behind her ear. “Hannah is never going to believe it.”

“Where is your better half?” He approached the glass counter and glanced inside the display.

“She’s in the back staining some new leather. What brings you in?” Jen tapped her fingers on the counter.

“I’ll pay triple to keep this discreet.” He cleared his throat.

“Not necessary, but of course.” Her eyes grew. “Do we know this lucky lady?”

Jay smirked. “Only a matter of time.” His eyes moved through the display. “A lighter shade of blue than this.” He pointed. “I like this moon and star.” He pointed to another one then looked up at her. “Rose gold.”

“Of course.” Jen spun and grabbed a notepad. “Length and width.”

He took the notepad from her and wrote down her requests.
