She bucked against my hand, seeking more of the exquisite friction. I complied, my fingers moving faster, harder, driving her towards the edge. Her breath came in ragged gasps, her body trembling under me until I slowed my movements and began circling around the little bud that had her whimpering my name.

Xyrox, please! Her voice was suddenly loud and desperate in my head. I smiled and continued my ministrations.

“Please what, Agent?” I taunted. My mouth found hers again, swallowing the very bad names I was sure she was about to call me.

You are a very bad man, she hissed in my mind.

Oh, I think I’m very, very good, I countered as I climbed down her body and lowered my mouth to taste the sweet slickness at the apex of her thighs. Her back arched off the mattress and tangled in my long, black braids. I hummed approvingly as her thighs clamped reflexively around my head.

What were you saying, Agent?I asked as I flattened my tongue and licked a trail up her center feasting on the delicious bounty she’d made for me.

“Shut up, and don’t stop,” she gasped.

Your wish is my command, xiara.I let her know as I speared her channel with my extra-long, forked tongue.

“Yes, yes, yes,” she chanted, her keening spurring me on as my tongue curled and stroked her pulsing channel. When I let my fang scrape her needy, swollen bud, she screamed my name and thrashed for several long moments before finally going limp under me.

I licked my lips and wiped my chin as I crawled back up her body, satisfied at the way she all her muscles quivered all at once and her chest heaved. She was breathtaking.

“Look at me, Peace,” I commanded, my voice ragged with need.

Her eyes fluttered open, locking onto mine. The intensity of her gaze was overwhelming, a physical force that held me captive. I saw my own desire reflected in her eyes, a mirror of my own need.

I flashed her a devilish smile before I flipped her onto her belly and thrust an arm under her hips, lifting her perfect ass into the air. She gasped and looked over her shoulder, her breath still coming in quick pants.

“Hold on, xiara,” I growled. “I can’t be easy anymore.”

“Don’t. Take me, my mate.” The words had a completely feral sound escaping me as I, thrust into her without preamble. filling her completely with my mating lingam, now harder than I’d ever felt it. She shared her thoughts of me filling her and it was overwhelming—pleasure and pain intertwined. The sensation left me gasping for breath. I held still for a moment as she dropped her forehead to the mattress, leaving her glorious ass high in the air.

She ground her hips back into me. “Mmm, take me hard, my mate.” Her voice was a husky rasp I’d never heard from her, but she didn’t have to tell me twice.

I began to move, my hips pistoning fast and hard in a rhythm as old as time. I locked my arms around her and pulled her upto my chest, thrusting into her while she held onto my neck—holding on for the ride.

I went full force, pounding into her body until the sounds of the slap of flesh against flesh, the harsh rasp of our breaths, and noises of our bodies coming together blending into one beautiful song. The scent of our arousal hung heavy in the air, a primal perfume that I wished I could bottle and carry with me.

My pace increased, my thrusts becoming harder, faster. Sweat beaded on my brow, dripping down onto her as I drove into her. Still, Peace clung to me, her nails digging into me, her body trembling, and a keening wail sounding from somewhere deep in her chest.

A moment later her muscles locked, her channel clamping down on me as her second orgasm hit her like a tidal wave. Her release caused me to follow her over the edge, my body stiffening as I climaxed, my mating lingam pulsing within her as I roared my release.Blasted suns, I’m surprised we didn’t collapse the whole goddess damned mountain!

Resting my chin on her shoulder, our breaths entwined as they came in ragged gasps. Once I was sure my heart wasn’t going to explode, I lowered us carefully to our sides. Our bodies were slick with sweat, but I held onto Peace like someone might try to drag her out of my arms. Finally, I allowed her to roll over to face me and I kissed her lips softly.

We snuggled into each other, arms and legs intertwining. I’d keep us that way forever if I had my way. It was a perfect moment, only us—Peace and me, together in solitude. Nothing after us, no need for words or watchful vigilance.

Our tranquility lasted for all of five heartbeats. Then all hell broke loose.

PEACE

My limbs were pleasantly limp as I rested on Xyrox’s chest. I didn’t even mind the sweat the slicked our bodies and stuck us together. The thought made me want to giggle. I wasn’t sure why. I felt like I was high on Zyrosian sayden berries, but even better. My eyelids fluttered closed as my fingers played with Xyrox’s glowing spiral on his chest and he drew lazy circles on my back.

Then an alarm shrieked. We both jackknifed up in the bed, barely avoiding colliding with each other’s heads.

“What’s happening?” I yelled over the screaming alarms.

“I’m not sure, but get dressed.” He threw the clothes he must have found while I was in the cleansing station in my direction and I scrambled to put them on.

“Julie! What’s happening?” I hoped the AI could hear us in this private space.
