“And you walk on all fours?” she asks carefully.
“We can do both,” he explains. “Walk on two legs or on four.” A pause. “So, what do you say, little mate Annalise?” he asks, his voice rough.
Annalise gets down on her knees, baring her neck in submission to him. He likes it, closing the gap between them and sniffing at her neck. He licks it, and she tilts her head to the side a bit.I like her,he says shortly to me.Could do with some attitude adjustments sometimes, but I like my mate to be strong-willed. Better than these mindless she-wolves licking your boots.
Of course, she is better,I say with emphasis.
Told you so,he growls. She isn’t scared of us. Who said it? Who said it?
I sigh, but my amusement slowly wins over. You were right, but don’t get used to it.
“May I?” Annalise asks softly.
“Of course,” Fenris looks her over sharply. “My mate may touch me anytime.”
She dives her fingers through my fur softly. “Poor Fenris,” she mutters suddenly; she sounds sad. “You are so beautiful. You would never harm little children. How could anyone believe you would do something so cruel?”
Fenris is silent at her words. She left him completely speechless, it seems. And just like that, my powerful, strong wolf rests his head in her lap and allows her gentle fingers to caress him.
After a while, he stirs, though, his eyes looking into hers. “It’s time now, Annalise,” he commands. “Undress and allow Leah to come forward.”
She nods. As I told her to, she doesn’t argue with Fenris. She doesn’t challenge him. I figure Fenris was right all along. She isn’t an idiot; she knows how to behave around an Alpha wolf. My eyes follow her when she undresses. She doesn’t hide from it. She undresses right in front of us, probably aware that she pleases my dominant side. I have my eyes fixed on her, taking in her beautiful body. She has slender shoulders and a long neck. She is not stick thin, she has a few curves, and I just love that. Her butt looks deliciously round and firm. I can’t wait until she is ready for me to mate her. I will definitely shower her body with the attention it deserves.
Annalise turns around, her face slightly flushed as if she guessed my thoughts. Then she shifts into a beautiful auburn-colored wolf. Her fur is slightly red in the sun, and her eyes have the same color as Annalise’s. It is beautiful and a very rare trait for a wolf to share the same eye color with their human. She is not particularly big or strong but lean and athletic. She is obviously used to running a lot.
Leah seems overjoyed to see Fenris jumping around him in excitement. He lets her, pleased by her obvious infatuation with him. They both set off for a run, and I can finally let loose, allowing Fenris to have the joy he deserves to have, to finally meet his mate in her wolf form.
He has been longing for a mate for so long. His longing differs from mine. It was more desperate, more urgent. As a human, I never knew what I was missing out on until I met Annalise. As for Fenris, he knew what he was waiting for. As my Lycan counterpart he always had a different grasp of the mate bond.
He and Leah keep running and running through the forest. She is slightly in front of him, forcing him to chase her. He does so until he has enough and picks up his speed. As if Leah understood the change of atmosphere, she slows down, allowing him to tackle her to the ground. When he growls, she officially submits to him. I assume that’s what she wanted to do anyway. She just wanted to play a bit beforehand.
Fenris bites her neck, not harshly, but enough for her to understand and accept his power. When she whimpers slightly, he lets go and starts licking her fur in approval. Leah curls up towards him, seeking his warmth and strength.
We allowed our wolves to run around for a few hours. I made sure we didn’t cross anyone’s path. After all, I want to introduce Annalise to my pack officially and not run into my guards’ arms like a lovesick puppy. Once I show her the pack, I will take her to all the beautiful places around here.
When we are back at my car, I shift back first. Leah is watching me curiously. I kneel down, reaching my arms towards her, chuckling when she rushes towards me. “Hello my beautiful Leah,” I say.
She licks over my face, before she sits back and lets me brush through her fur. She is such a sweet wolf, I’m not surprised that Fenris is completely enamored of her. We spend a few minutes getting to know each other, before Annalise shifts back too, and we dress in silence. It’s not an uncomfortable one, though. We are still bathing in the emotions our wolves felt when with each other. I hate to admit it, but looking back at it now, I am glad she insisted on meeting Fenris. It feels like now that she finally bonded with my wolf, our bond is so much stronger. I can only imagine how strong it will be once I mark her.
The first part of the road leading us back to the city takes us through the forest. It’s a calm and quiet area, and there are hardly any cars. Aside from us wolves, no one comes here. I allow my gaze to wander to her for a moment. She has her eyes half-closed, a sweet smile curling her lips. I reach out to touch her hair. In my mind, Fenris is content, and has retreated. He is completely relaxed. That’s a new feeling. Relaxed is not how he normally feels.
“Still mad?” she asks, leaning into my touch.
“No, but keep in mind that you can’t always push me like that. Today it just so happened that Fenris wanted the same thing. It won’t always be like that.”
She takes my hand into hers, playing with my fingers. “I know. Thank you for listening to me.”
I sigh. “Well, you had a point about allowing Leah and Fenris to meet. It’s your right to see this part of me too.”
“Leah is so in love with Fenris. It’s cute.” She smiles warmly, her eyes lightening up in joy.
I chuckle a bit. “The feeling is definitely not one-sided.”
When we reach a busier road, I reluctantly pull my hand away to grab the wheel. “What do you want to eat?”
“I’m not hungry,” she says, confused. “We just ate, didn’t we?”
“We ran around for hours. You have to eat,” I say, amused. She pouts a bit. She is cute like that. Let’s see if I can make her come out of her shell. “I could stop somewhere and buy us some tacos and fries.”
