I hadn’t said her name. She hadn’t said her name. That meant I was tweaking like a motherfucker tonight, and as I’d assumed earlier, my shitty-ass plan was indeed shitty. I should’ve never hit Uriah up on this type of time.
“Is… Is that the girl who was at your house? Is thatSolana?”
“Aye, shut up.” I needed silence for two seconds.
My gun was still lifted, and I had my finger on the trigger. This whole fucking situation had a nigga out of body. I didn’t like that shit. I didn’t like not knowing what the end result of all of this would be. I didn’t like the fact that I knew there would be bloodshed. And I didn’t like the fact that when I thought of the wife that I had to have, Solana’s lazy, moody ass came to mind.
A woman who was already promised to another man.
“So, you… You were thinking about her while you were fucking me? Why, Shio?”
Uriah looked fucking pitiful. Here she was on the other side of my gun, and instead of asking me to lower the shit, she was asking me about another woman. Women were a trip.
“Why not just go to Solana, Shio?”
Hearing her name raised the hairs on the back of my neck, and my dick stiffened again.
“Aye, don’t say her name again, yo’.” I didn’t like the way my body reacted to hearing it. Why was this shit happening? I was king of self-disciplined. How the fuck had this shit happened in less than a calendar month?
“I’m just saying! Why would you call mehername? Why would you put a gun to my head? I haven’t done anything! I thought you were a man of God! You wear that chain, but here you are about to kill me! That’s a sin.”
Tucking my gun into my waist, I fastened my jeans, then my belt. Giving a hysterical Uriah one look over, I licked my lips. “And fuckin’ you outta wedlock is a sin too. Yet, you fall all over this dick anytime I call. Bye, Uriah.”
Leaving the room, I shook my head all the way down to the lobby. I nearly caught a body without a silencer in a busy hotel, all because she mentioned Solana.

I hadto get my head back in the game. The list was becoming longer with hardly anything accomplished. It was time to stop churning my thoughts and figure some shit out. I guess I was headed to the Dungeon after all. But first, I had to go to the crib and wash Uriah’s juices off a nigga.
Chapter 20
Solana Damita Ledesma
It had been over a month since I’d been in the club, and I had to admit that partying with these ladies felt different. I usually partied with tourists or strangers at the clubs back home because I had no friends. But here, these women made me feel more at ease than I ever had around the women in Mexico. My own stepmother acted like I was the worst thing to ever come into her life, which made me question if all women were like that. These women proved me wrong. We were at a strip club called Passion. We sat in a section with three stunning women, who were dancing for us. Their bodies were like a work of art, and seeing their naked bodies pop, lock, and gyrate had my body rising a few degrees. The DJ announced Missy’s name several times throughout the night. The bright lights, sparkles, dollars, and endless bottles made me feel like I was on top of the world.
From the moment we walked in the doors, and I spotted a familiar face, I knew my night had just gotten an upgrade. I’d excused myself from the women, paid my new friend a visit, went to the bathroom to freshen up, and had been on a high ever since. The booth we were in was elevated, with a metal railing lining the section. Glorilla blasted through the speakers, and every fiber in my body stood to attention. Running past thestrippers, I gripped the railing and bent over, not caring that my entire ass was out as I shook to the beat. The skirt I was wearing had shorts attached, but still, I felt nothing but cool air as I clapped my cheeks to the beat.
