“I wanted to, but then I spoke to Timber, who asked for him.”

“Why would she do that?”

Memphis looks at me before continuing. “He threatened to ruin her reputation on national television if she didn’t get him a meeting with me.”

“What the fuck?” I try to get out of my seat, but my brother and London hold me down.

“Listen up, pretty boy, I’m handling this. Stay away from him. I don’t want you to do anything that will jeopardize your future.” Memphis is holding my glare with one of his own.

“And stay away from Timber until you get your anger under control.”

Fuck this. I shake them off and storm toward the house.

I head up the stairs and hear crying. She’s crying.

I throw the door open, causing her to jump.

“Get out,” she yells at me.

“No.”

“Yes.”

“I’m not going anywhere until you tell me what’s going on.”

She’s pissed. She stands and storms toward me, pushing me out the door.

“I’m not telling you anything. Why do you even care? I’m not who you want me to be. I won’t ever be good enough for you. I’m not your precious Snow. I’m just some slut.” She slams the door in my face.

I’m pissed now. What the fuck?

“If you kick in that door, you will buy me a new one,” Shane says from the stairs.

“I’m not the reason she’s crying.”

“You’re the reason she’s continuing to cry.”

“I probably am,” I admit.

“I think you should go.” I just nod.

I find Sal.

“Oh good, you’re here.”

“Cabin nine?”

“Nine and ten.”

“Why both?”

“We’re having a fight for the last date.” Sal looks almost evil.

I walk off to get the men when he stops me. “Get cabin eight.”

Fuck me. I have to look at that asshole’s face again.

But whatever. I knock on all three doors and tell them they are wanted at the tree. They know which one. The last two guys are Axel and Silas Ransom. Brothers. I’ve fought Axel before.
