“Because I believe what you said. Taking responsibility is a big step. Hopefully, we can get you your girl and back in the cage.”

“Thank you.” I want to cry, but I don’t want to seem vulnerable. But fuck, I need my big brother. At least one person is in my corner.

CHAPTERTHIRTY-ONE

TIMBER

“Welcome back toChicken Fried Love. Tonight, Timber has to eliminate three men. Timber, how are you feeling?”

“I’m nervous. All of them are great guys, and I hate hurting people,” I reply, and Carlton squeezes my shoulders.

“Guys, she’s made her decision,” Carlton says, moving to the side.

“I hate doing this. Harrison, Diego, Garrett, I’m sorry.”

They all nod.

Harrison hugs me. “You’ll be alright. I will need your help when I buy my ranch.”

“You’re moving to Hickory?”

“I am. I love it here. I found some land closer to the mountains.”

“I’m so happy for you.” I kiss his cheek, and he moves to the side.

Garrett is next. “You’ll find love.”

“I’m sorry we didn’t get to know each other.”

“It’s alright. I’ll be around more. I have family here.”

“What?”

“You guys are family.” He smiles and kisses my cheek.

Diego approaches me and whispers, “I don’t think he did what that douche said he did.”

I don’t say anything. I don’t know what to say.

“Tomorrow, Timber goes on a double date. Tune in next time.” Carlton grins at the camera.

“Cut,” someone yells, and I breathe.

“I hate doing that,” I tell the guys

“We know what we signed up for,” Garrett replies.

“Memphis ordered pizza,” Harrison says and guides me toward the table.

“Eat pizza in my dress?” I forgot about the pretty pale pink ballgown I’m in.

“Live a little.” Diego swallows a piece whole, and I laugh.

“Who is your date with tomorrow?” Hunter asks.

“Kash,” I say as Kash sits down with us.

“Where are you taking her?” Axel asks.
