“Fuck,” Hammond whispers.

“I’m coming,” the man whispers as he strokes speed up, almost out of control. I feel him slump on the bed a little bit as Hammond flips me over and thrusts in and out like he’s claiming me. I might not be able to walk tomorrow.

“Oh fuck,” he mutters, I pulsate around him as I come again, so hard it almost hurts.

“That just made me hard, again,” the man drawls as he lights a cigarette.

“We have to smoke outside,” Hammond grabs the smoke and stubs it out, before getting off the bed to wet a cloth. He cleans me up and helps me off the bed so I can put on some joggers and tank top. I need a smoke after that.

“Just so you know, we’re not done,” the man winks as he puts his jeans back on.

“Yes, daddy,” I say.

“You can call me Cain,” he replies.

“Is that your name?”

“Yes. What is your name?”

“Joelle,” I smile at him as we walk out to the bench they put outside my tent. He offers me a cigarette and I accept. I watch Hammond lean up against a nearby tree with an angry face.

“I think I pissed him off,” Cain whispers to me.

“He’s never stayed before,” I admit.

“I like him. I want him to stay. We will be best friends by the time I leave.”

“If you say so,” I say as I take a drag.

“You know you’re too good for a place like this,” Cain states.

“It’s all I know I guess,” which is true. I never had a childhood since I was passed around like a leftover Christmas Tupperware. My dad is a murderer. Not that I’m much better since I have killed before. But I was on the street after my last home and Meryl took me in.

“You are destined to be queen,” he drawls. His Texas accent makes my body tingle. I love it.

“I’m a boring person. I like to read and that’s it.”

“Maybe someday you’ll figure out that you're destined to shine.”

“Maybe.”

“How about we call for takeout and just watch movies the rest of the night?” Cain suggests. No customer ever stays and ever suggests something normal.

“Sure.”

“You go shower and order from where ever. Order a lot of whatever you like, we’ll share,” he gives me his credit card and my mouth nearly drops to the floor. Who is this man?

“Okay. Thank you,” I say like a dumbass.

“I’ll be back in a minute,” he smiles at me and I rush off to shower and order Chinese food.

Hammond

“What the fuck?” I hiss at him as soon as she’s back in the tent.

“Orders. We know all about the cop. And we know all about her. Your father is dying, it’s time to come home.”

“I won’t come home without her.”
