“You heard your old lady,” Diablo snorts.
“Fuck off,” I flip him off, “Kennedy we’re also opening shops in town. You, too, Kaylee. If you want to work in town, let Ziggy or someone know.”
“I am willing to help out wherever I can. I don’t think I want to give my body to just anyone,” she admits. Kaylee agrees with that sentiment.
“Why did you show up at the clubhouse?” I ask her.
“I needed a place to stay, I knew what being a club girl would entail. But with it, I would have a roof over my head and food.”
“You were homeless?” Plum asks.
“I am if I’m turned away,” Kennedy shrugs, like it’s nothing. That’s not nothing and I have a feeling Plum is going to be her saving grace.
“You’re not going anywhere,” Plum states. I was right.
“But I….”
“That’s in the past. We’re all moving forward. We can start with making amends and helping out,” Plum puts her foot down.
“I won’t let you down,” Kennedy replies.
“Can you go grab some wine from the prospects? They know where it is,” Zoe tells her, and the girl runs off with Kaylee to go grab some wine for us.
“Pretty big of you,” I kiss her lightly before joining the guys.
“You still have your balls,” Capone snickers.
“Fuck you,” I chuckle as we all set out and enjoy some peace.
It won’t last long. Shit is coming.
