“For Plum’s land in Texas?”
“Everything, including permits to build or tunnel,” I state and they all catch on.
“I can get you those,” Dixon replies. I give him a nod before going on.
“California, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, any other property that is in her family’s name,” I tell him as he goes to get his laptop, Dixon taking a seat beside him to help.
“I need you to look at those blueprints as maps. I also want to get an arial view. You still have contacts?”
“We do,” they say at the same time. It’s freaky even though I’ve gotten used to it after the years. Ranger, Army, and Jace are triplets. No idea why they all wanted to join an MC but they’ve come in handy at times.
“I want someone in the air, I want pictures. I have a feeling she’s in Texas. I want to know what’s coming in and out of there and who it is. Get with the guys already watching the house,” I say, and they go do what I asked.
“I thought the same thing,” Dixon mumbles.
“You good?” I ask him as he finishes up with Jace.
“Just wondering where my wife is. No note, no text, nothing to say she left me or asking for a ransom,” he mutters.
“I’m sorry,” I mumble, not sure what to say.
“I think you’re thinking with a clear head finally. We probably should get everyone ready to ride out if you’re right.” He gulps down his drink and saunters out. I only hope I’m right. And I’m on time.
CHAPTERTWELVE
Plum
I feel a bucket of water tossed in my face as Sawyer laughs at me. I can’t move since I’m still tied up. I passed out when those men raped me. I guess it’s my defense mechanism. Their hands on me made me feel dirty.
“Heard you’ve been having some fun,” Sawyer sneers at me.
I only shake my head.
“It’s going to get better,” he says, and for a minute I truly believe him, but I think our thoughts on getting better differ.
He proves just that when he slaps my face. I taste the bitterness of blood in my mouth where I bit my cheek.
“Please, tell me what I did wrong?” I whisper.
“What you did was come home that day. If you hadn’t come home, we would still be living together, happily married,” he slaps me again.
Why am I being punished? He hits me again and again.
“You need to stop, you know he won’t be happy. After we get what we want, she’s not our concern,” I hear a male voice say.
“He doesn’t want her face bloodied, everywhere else is fair game as is her tight pussy,” Sawyer sneers at me.
Who won’t be happy? I try to catch the rest of the conversation but the beating has me going under. I would welcome death at this time.

Zion
Stetson and Trick have sat on that bitch’s house for days and nothing. Dixon sent his men to where she works and nothing. She’s the key, I know it. Or at least a key.
I tell them to call a new locksmith and get the locks changed as well as install cameras. If anyone goes to the house, we can keep track of it. I’m losing my mind since we’re coming up with dead ends.
“Zion, can I stay home from school?” Gage asks as we eat breakfast. Him and Noah come to the clubhouse and eat before going to school. Tex and one of the prospects look after them and the other club kids.
