“It’s cute,” he says, setting me on the counter and starts to fill the tub. It’s bigger than I remember but looks so relaxing.
“Here, mom,” Gage hands me my bag and I thank him.
“I’ll finish making breakfast,” he runs out as Greer takes off the walking cast and wraps the other casts in plastic, making sure they’re leak proof. I don’t get my feet in the water, we’ve figured out how for me to relax with them out of the tub using a shower seat. I watch as Greer places it in the tub and then helps me undress. I blush as he strips me naked. I feel raw as he checks me out head to toe. And then I watch in fascination as he strips. I gasp as he drops his shirt to the floor and see all his scars and tattoos.
“Goes with the job,” he says, running a hand over his chest. He drops his pants and I nearly have a heart attack at the monster that was hidden in his jeans. He’s bigger than Zion.
Greer chuckles as he picks me up and steps into the water, placing my feet on the seat and leaning me back against his chest. While this is intimate, he’s not doing anything but helping me take a bath. But his touch makes me feel jolts of electricity. My lady parts are panting for his touch.
He is the perfect gentleman as he washes my body and then we sit in silence just relaxing.
“You have to heal first,” his chest rumbles as he talks, and I look up into his face.
“What?”
“I want to do sinful things with you, but you need to heal first,” he bends down to kiss me and just the kiss alone almost has my pussy spasming. Oh fuck.
“Soon, little one. York wants to be here too. Zion will have to figure it out on his own. But if he decides to get his shit together and claim you as well, we’ll figure it out. You probably need to find a doctor here as well,” Greer says. Holy shit, did he just say what I think he said? He just said that when it happens, York wants me as well, he wants to be here and that they would share if Zion wants me as well. Zion doesn’t want me, not after that. That hurts because I was falling for him.
“Come on, let’s get you dressed and fed so you can take us on a wild goose chase of shopping.”
“It won’t be that bad,” I murmur, and he snorts.
“We need clothes as well. How long do you want to stay?” he asks.
“I don’t know. Forever?”
“Could be arranged,” Greer says as he helps me into some joggers and a tank top. He peels the plastic off and puts on the walking casts as I brush my teeth and hair.
I don’t really care what I look like. I might be rich by some standards, but I still buy my clothes at stores like Walmart.
I’m thinking a Target haul today. I also look up horse auctions online so maybe we can hit those this week.
“I’ve already called Gage’s school, he can do his courses online,” Greer says as he carries me into the kitchen, setting me in a chair across from Gage who is already working online.
“Thank you,” I dig into the basic eggs and bacon, and it still tastes like heaven.
“You’re welcome.” Greer does the same.
“Where are we going today?” Gage asks.
“We need new furniture. Could we stop at some stores first before groceries and clothes?” I ask.
“Yeah.”
“Do you know if they will take away the old stuff?” I ask Greer.
“How about we put it into the basement in case we need it. Gage could use some of it when he goes to college,” Greer says, and I nod.
“The tunnels will be filled in tomorrow,” Gage says, showing Greer his phone. I’m guessing it’s from Jace.
“We will make this yours,” Greer says, kissing my head and grabbing my plate, rinsing it and putting it in the dishwasher. Be still my heart, he does dishes.
“I might be a biker, but I’m not a heathen,” he chuckles. Gage snickers and I giggle. This feels so natural.
“Let’s go, little one, your chariot awaits.”
“I feel bad you don’t have your bike,” I whisper as he carries me out to my car.
