Murder, murder, murder.

Those kids were murdered and while I won’t admit it out loud, I think they were murdered by me.

Chapter 5

Cala Lily - Just call me the butcher

I couldn’t stay away, there are things I need to do. Yes, I wanted to give Cala a break, but she needs to come to terms with everything and quickly. Eventually, she’ll get it. She will understand her destiny and let the dark side wash over her like waves on a beach.

Rolling out of bed, I throw on dark skinny jeans, a dark tee shirt, and black boots, putting my blonde hair in a braid to complete my look. Glancing over to the corner, it seems I match the Shadows.

Hunter emerges, “What fun will we get up to tonight?”

I feel like I’ve met my soulmates, the ones. They understand us so well.

I shrug, “I don’t know. Where are the parties happening?”

The guys share looks, “No parties really, everyone is sharing in their pretend grief. But some of the popular kids are hanging out downtown.”

Perfect. I know of a few more people that need to be knocked off the list before Cala can truly be happy.

We leave the house, Cala’s parents unaware or they’re too busy forgetting they have a child, they at least don’t try to stop me. Daze helps me into the passenger seat as Hunter gets in the driver's side. Daze and Peck sit in the back, one of them passing me a cigarette as Hunter puts the car in drive.

It feels nice to just drive around, the windows down, listening to the music in the background. For one moment, I almost feel what it’s like to be a normal teenager about to go off into the big, bad world.

But I’m not normal. Cala isn’t normal. Maybe if things were different, but alas that’s not in the cards for us.

The guys park across the street from the hipster coffee shop, where the lattes cost more than a color job at a low-end salon. There’s quite a crowd, shedding fake tears for the four douchebags that we just blew up.

Some are holding pictures up of the two girls that live across from me, the ones that bullied Charlee. The tears are as fake as the weaves in their head. Maybe tonight I won't hurt anyone, but someone is going to get a new do.

Turning to Peck, “Do you have the masks in the trunk?”

He looks shocked, “Who do you think I am?” Snorting, I get out and grab the masks, along with one of the guys' electric razors.

The guys wait for me to explain and I do, “I think I want to give Carly Johnson and Heidi Summers a new look.”

They give me a confused look and I sigh, “I want to grab them and then cut off their hair, the same way they did to that other girl last year.”

The guys just nod, “We are here for you.”

We wait until the two girls leave, walking down the street, laughing about some shit. They're not even aware of their surroundings.Dumb bitches.

At the end of the shops there is an alley and right as they cross it, Hunter and Daze grab them, covering their mouths so they can’t scream. Peck leads us to a shed in the park, vacant, dirty, kind of nice in a way.

The girls are dropped to the floor and I start laughing, “Look at you two.”

I keep my mask on because this time I don’t want to be seen. For a few seconds, I admire Hunter who is shirtless with his mask on. Fuck, he has a nice body. As do all my guys.Get it together, you can eye fuck their bodies later.

“What the fuck is this?” Carly demands and I strut forward, grabbing her by the hair. She tries to yell, but I yank her head so far back she’s straining to even breathe.

“This is a little lesson on how to treat others nicely.” Daze grabs Heidi so she can’t run as I use the electric razor that Daze uses to shave his head. Both girls cry out as Carly’s hair drops to the floor.

“It’s okay to scream Heidi, I love it when they scream,” I wink at the girl Daze is holding and smile sinisterly.

“What are you? Who are you?” Heidi stammers.

“I’m a psycho just out to teach you what it’s like to be on the receiving end of cruelty.” I grin as I shove Carly to the floor while Peck holds her down. She thrashes against us as her mascara runs down her face making her look just as ugly as her soul is.
