"You were only out for a few minutes.” He crawled on the bed. “We still have plentyoftime."
"I missed thebestpart."
"What's thebestpart?"

Harrison grinned. "I promise you; it was beyondamazing."
"Of course, it was." Ismiled.
A thunderclap interrupted Harrison'slaugh.
I jumped. It wasn't dark outside. A storm had rolledthrough.
"My little sub isn't afraid of storms, are you?" He flopped back against theheadboard.
I shook my head and crawled onto his lap. He held me to his chest, massaging my lower back and the top ofmyass.
"How do you feel?" he asked, pattingmyass.
"I'mfine.”
We sat in silence, holding eachother.
I was Harrison's sub. I thought I was too independent, too stubborn. I was wrong. I enjoyed our time even more because we had stuff going on outside ourrelationship.
I had a business I was trying to get off the ground, and he had a business that was thriving. But being thousands of miles away was going to bedifferent.
"What are you thinking so hard about?" He ran his thumb betweenmyeyes.
"I miss youalready."
"Me, too," he said. "It will be three days at the most, and when I get back, I have a surpriseforyou."
"What kind of surprise?" I leaned back, waiting for his answer, but he gave me one of those patented Harrison Crawford smirked and leaned in tokissme.

He followed and kissedmehard.
With an exhausted sigh, I gave up fighting. I didn't wanttowin.
Harrison broke off the kiss, his expressionserious.
"If you don't want me to go, I won't go." He nuzzledmyneck.
"Don'tgo."
I should have taken it back, but I didn't. I meant it. I didn't want himtogo.
I had a strange feeling that when he returned, things wouldn't bethesame.
