“I feel like the last time you had a question for me, it got me in trouble.” She giggles. “Hopefully this one won’t. What’s your question, Sebastian?” she asks softly.

I give her another kiss and run my fingers down the side of her shirt. She stills slightly, and I feel her hands on my muscles, on my biceps, squeezing.

“Will you spend the night with me tonight?” I say, leaning forward and kissing her again. There’s a question in my eyes and hesitancy in hers. I’m not going to push it, though. I can’t push it. I can’t let her see how badly I want this because the lines are becoming blurred. So blurred that I wonder if I should stop. She hesitates for a few moments, then looks up to the sky.

“What are you doing?” I ask her.

“I was wondering if the stars were out to guide me andhelp me come up with an answer,” she says softly. “But it’s not nighttime yet.”

“It’s not,” I say. “But maybe if you stay the night, we can look at the stars later, as well.”

“Maybe,” she says, and then I watch her nod slightly. “But the answer is yes. I’ll spend the night with you.”

“Great,” I say. “I’m looking forward to it.” And then I kiss her again because there’s nothing I want more in this moment than my lips on hers.

Chapter Eleven

Willow

Katherine whistles as I step into the bed and breakfast’s lobby. I glance up at her and grin. I feel incredibly self-conscious in my outfit, so I’m glad she’s here to put me at ease.

“Look at you, Ms. Sexy,” she says as she rushes from behind the counter toward me. “You look gorgeous. Spin for me, baby.” I glare at her, and she bursts out laughing. “You know that's what Hottie Sebastian's going to say when he sees you.”

“You think I look okay?” I look down at my bare legs and give her a quick little spin.I'm wearing a tight black dress, and I feel like my every curve and imperfection is on display.

“Brielle lent me her heels,” I sayas I point my toes out.

“You look stunning. Oh my gosh, I cannot believe that you are going to make love tonight.”

“You can sayhave sex.” I giggle because we both know that's what I'm going to be doing.

“Well, he's gorgeous, and you're gorgeous, girl. It's making love because, you know what? This is your Cinderella moment, and I really do think Sebastian is your Prince Charming. I've seen the way he stares at you. He's smitten—and when I say smitten, I mean capital S-M-I-T-T-E-N. He really likes you.”

“It's crazy, Katherine, but when I stare at him and he looks back at me, I feel like maybe all my dreams are coming true. I feel like I'm in a fairy tale. I may have met the most perfect man in the world, and I don't want to wake up. If this is a dream?—”

“It's not a dream. Now go get your man.” She grins. “I know he's eagerly waiting for you.”

“You do?”

“Well, let's just say I took up a bottle of ice?—”

“You took up a bottle of ice?”

She giggles. “My bad. I mean, I took up a bucket of ice, and he had a big bottle of champagne waiting, and I may or may not have seen a can of whipped cream.”

“No way.” My jaw drops. “You did not see whipped cream.”

“Okay, I'm lying. I didn’t see whipped cream, but that would be cool, right?”

I just shake my head and giggle. “Really, Katherine?”

“What? I’m just saying, I’ve never had sex where the guy’s licked whipped cream off of me.”

“You know you can change that, right?”

“Maybe I just want to live vicariously through you, girl.”

“You're going to find a man next, and so is Brielle, and we're all going to be happy and living our best lives.”
