Relishing her inspiration and taking advantage of Vicar’s weakness when it came to her, she summoned every bit of magic she could to swoop up over him, wrap her tail around his neck then drop altitude sharply.

“Thor’s thunder,”he roared as they tumbled toward the ground.

Sure, he could probably fight back but didn’t. Not really. So she kept using his great body as an effective wall against his fellow dragons until they crashed into the ground and started rolling. When they came to a stop, she whacked the tip of her tail against him and bolted free before he could lock her down. He almost caught her a few times, but she was quick, scurrying out from his grasp before he could get a hold of her.

Meanwhile, his airborne crew tried to figure out how to come between them, especially when it became clear Vicar was simultaneously staving them off while trying to catch her. And that’s all she needed to close the distance between her and the Keep.

Almost there.

Just a few more feet.

Or so she thought until something slammed down in front of her that stopped her dead in her tracks.
