My eyes widened. “Did you read them?”
“No! Of course not.” She looked away. The fibber. “Maybe one… or two.”
Brian laughed so hard that his eyes watered. He must’ve read the messages, too. Great. How embarrassing.
“I’m deleting it,” I said, reaching for the computer.
Anna jerked it back. “No, you can’t! Please, please, Rye. Do this for me.” She pouted her bottom lip and made her hazel eyes look extremely pitiful. “I want you to find a good man, and you’re too much of a hermit to get out and find him yourself, so maybe this will bring him toyou.”
Once I was passed the shock, it actually wasn’tthatbad of an idea. I’d never thought of using one of the dating sites before, but since it was made—and wow, I was already receiving messages—maybe something good could come from it.
“Fine. I won’t delete it,” I reassured her.
She excitedly clapped her hands and then wrote down the username and password for me. I’d definitely be writing my own profile, once I got home.
