He says he wants to help people.
Is that why he’s so interested in me? He heard my story and wanted to help me since he couldn’t help his brother? Am I a second chance of sorts for him to try to make things right?
“Alex?” My voice is raspier than usual. It’s hard to contain my hurt.
He lifts his head, cheeks wet. “What’s wrong?”
“Is that why you’re with me? Because you want to fix me?”
“Fix you?” He searches my face, frowning. And then realization lights his expression. His bottom lip quivers. “You really think that’s why I like you?”
“I don’t know. Is it?”
“No,” he says, grabbing my jaw. “When I’m with you, I feel so warm, Shi. You get me like not many other people do. I can’t explain it, but I feel like I’ve known you all my life. Each time I kiss you, my heart pounds faster and my head spins. No one’s ever made me feel like this.”
Emotion clogs in my throat.
“I’ve never felt like this either,” I say. “About anyone.”
Alex kisses me. I cup the back of his head and roll him to his back, getting on top of him. He grips my side as we kiss and wraps his legs around me. Sparks shoot through my veins, and heat gathers in my groin as he grinds his hips up, creating a delicious friction.
He breaks away from the kiss. “Sorry. We don’t have to—”
I tug his face back to mine and capture his lips. He tastes a little salty from his tears, but I don’t mind. My body comes alive with him beneath me. I roll my hips forward, issuing from him a small groan. Hell, I groan too.
“Wanna go to the tent?” I ask.
Alex nods and wraps his arms around my neck as I lift him off the blanket. We take off our shoes and unzip the tent before climbing inside and closing the flap. And then we’re back on each other, our mouths pressing together and our hearts beating to the same fast rhythm as we lie down.
My eyes sting as my desire for him builds. That broken feeling inside my chest mends a little too. I still don’t know if I’m asexual or whatever, but for once, I don’t overthink anything. I just let myself do what feels right.
And Alex feels right. Kissing him. Touching him. Sharing his breaths as we grind together on the sleeping bag.
“I want you so bad,” Alex murmurs against my lips before gently nipping at them. His fingertips dig into my shoulders as he arches his back and rolls his hips up into me.
“I…” I swallow the tightness in my throat, trembling as I hover over him. “I’ve never done this.”
“I know,” Alex says, nuzzling my jaw. “I kinda suspected you were a virgin. If you want to do it with me, I’d love to be your first. But it’s cool if you don’t want to. We can cuddle and kiss if that’s what you’d rather do. I’ll be happy either way.”
He’s so understanding and patient. It’s genuine too, not an act. It makes me fall for him a little harder.
“I want to,” I whisper, then breathe out a small nervous laugh. “But I have no idea what I’m doing.”
“I’ll help you,” Alex says, pushing against my chest and moving me to my back. I stare up at him as he straddles my hips. It’s dark in the tent, but my eyes have adjusted enough to see his tender expression. “Let me know if you don’t like it, and I’ll stop.”
I nod, not trusting my voice. My heart’s beating so hard I can hear the blood pounding in my ears. We’re both shirtless from swimming earlier, so only our shorts separate us.
Alex dips his finger beneath the waistband of my swimming trunks, and his light touch sends ripples along my skin. He bends down and kisses my stomach as he pulls my shorts off.
I’ve never been so exposed to anyone before, and the vulnerability makes me suddenly self-conscious. But I trust him.
“You okay?” he asks, peering up at me after nipping at my belly button.
“Y-Yeah.”
When his hand comes around my dick, my back arches and the breath leaves my lungs. I’m so hard I ache. He gives me a slow tug, then another. With his eyes on mine, he wraps his lips around me and takes me into his hot mouth.
A warm tingling sensation travels down my spine, and my thighs quake.
